Ramirez could miss the rest of the season for Triple-A Rochester after suffering a fractured fibula when he fouled a ball off his lower leg on Thursday, the Rochester Democrat & Chornicle reports.
Ramirez must be unlucky because he missed the final month of the 2013 season with the same injury. He was hitting .232/.238/.387 in 43 games for Rochester. He's settled into a Triple-A depth player at this point in his career.

Ramirez won a spot on the Twins last spring by hitting .404/.433/.579 in 57 spring at-bats, but a concussion ruined his year. He'd probably need to do something similar this spring to make the team this time around.

Wilkin Ramirez is currently ahead of schedule in his recovery from a fractured left tibia.
Ramirez sustained the injury when he fouled a pitch off his leg in late August. He was initially ruled out from playing in the Dominican Winter League until January, but it now appears he could be on track to enjoy much more of that season. Any additional at-bats that he can get over the Winter should increase his chances of cracking the Twins roster next spring.

Wilkin Ramirez (concussion) passed his latest round of concussion tests and has been cleared to begin his minor league rehab assignment.
Ramirez will begin his 20-day rehab assignment on Monday with the Gulf Coast League Twins. He's been dealing with concussion symptoms since May 25, but is finally progressing towards a return to the Twins. If all goes well, he could rejoin the club at some point in August.

Wilkin Ramirez (concussion) has returned to the Twin Cities for further testing.
Ramirez had a a recurrence of his concussion symptoms during a rehab game last month and is still having issues. "He is not doing great. He's still having headaches, so the symptoms are all still there," Twins assistant general manager Rob Antony said. "We're just going to basically take it easy with him, do very little with him until the symptoms start to subside."
