Hill was 8-of-9 passing for 104 yards with two touchdowns in Saturday's preseason win over Tampa Bay.
Hill will begin the season as the backup to Teddy Bridgewater. He'll likely take just a few snaps all season, but he showed he can be a capable spot starter if needed.

The Vikings have signed Hill, 1500espn.com reports.
The addition of the 35-year-old Hill -- whose deal ESPN.com relays is worth $6.5 million over the next two seasons -- gives the Vikings a capable and experienced backup to work behind the team's rising young starter at QB, Teddy Bridgewater.

Hill completed 26-of-37 passes for 243 yards and two interceptions in Sunday's 20-6 loss at Seattle.
Both of his interceptions came in the second half, and one of them was returned for a touchdown to essentially ice the game. He played respectably, once the Rams benched Austin Davis, but he'll likely return to a reserve role, if he re-signs with St. Louis.

Hill completed 24 of 32 passes for 290 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's 37-27 loss to the Giants.
If you were desperate enough to start Hill this week, this is probably on the better end of what you could have hoped for. Don't expect a repeat performance next week at Seattle.

Hill completed 20-of-39 passes for 239 yards, with no touchdowns and an interception, in Thursday's 12-6 loss to the Cardinals. He added 11 yards on three carries.
Things went no better for the St. Louis offense than Hill's statistics indicate, as the team had five consecutive three-and-outs at one point in the contest. The running game was of little use, with Tre Mason gaining just 33 yards on 13 carries, and also coughing up a fumble. While Hill's mostly been solid this season, he has largely ridden the coattails of a red-hot Rams defense. He still figures to bounce back, at least to some extent, in a much friendlier matchup with the Giants next week.

Hill completed 16-of-22 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 24-0 win over Washington.
Hill connected with six different receivers, throwing both of his touchdowns to tight end Jared Cook. Despite relatively modest yardage totals, Hill has four touchdowns and zero interceptions in the last two games, and he's got a decent Week 15 matchup against the Cardinals, who are allowing the sixth-most passing yards per game this season.

Hill completed 13-of-22 passes for 183 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 52-0 win over the Raiders.
After struggling in Week 12 against the Chargers, Hill was much better against the Raiders, leading the Rams to touchdowns on their first five drives. Despite the success, it wasn't all on the arm of Hill, as running back Tre Mason finished the day with 117 rushing yards and two scores, while also adding 47 receiving yards and another touchdown. Hill will continue to be more of a game manager, while the offense moves with Mason, though he could be in line for a few more scores in Week 14 against a Redskins defense that has allowed the third-most passing touchdowns this season.

Hill completed just 18-of-35 passes for 198 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's 27-24 loss at San Diego. He also had three turnovers, including a costly end-zone interception in the final minute of the game.
Hill didn't make a lot of plays early on, and was under a lot of pressure throughout, fumbling midway through the third quarter, which was returned for a touchdown. It looked like he might rebound though, as he made a couple of nice throws on the Rams' penultimate drive of the game, capped by a seven-yard touchdown pass to Stedman Bailey with 2:07 remaining. After St. Louis forced a punt and got decent yardage on the return, Hill hooked up with Kenny Britt on a pretty 27-yard play, to put the ball inside the Chargers' 10-yard line. A couple of plays later, Hill threw an interception in the end zone, on what appeared to be a bad read. It will be interesting to see how Hill responds next week in a favorable matchup against the Raiders at home.

Hill completed 20 of 29 passes for 220 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 22-7 win over the Broncos.
Making his first start since Week 1, Hill connected with seven different receivers, with most of his production coming from wideout Kenny Britt, who caught four passes for 128 yards and a touchdown, a 63-yarder in the first quarter that put the Rams up 10-0. Hill was composed and fairly accurate with his throws and certainly did enough to keep the starting job that he just reclaimed from Austin Davis. Up next is a Week 12 matchup against the Chargers, who are ranked ninth in the league in passing yards allowed per game.
Wed Nov 12 201411:07Shaun Hill: Will Start Sunday
Hill will start Sunday's game against the Broncos in place of Austin Davis, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
It was reported Tuesday that Davis would remain the Rams' starter, but head coach Jeff Fisher changed course, and will go with Hill this week instead. Hill has not started a game since Week 1, but Fisher is hopeful that he will give the Rams a better chance to win this week in a tough environment facing the league's top run defense.

Hill's teammate, Austin Davis will start Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Per ESPN's Nick Wagoner, it's a move that is intended to stick, with Hill evidently back to where he started the season; an injury away from fantasy relevance.

Hill (thigh) has a good shot at returning to the lineup Oct. 5 against the Eagles, the Associated Press reports.
Coach Jeff Fisher has said the starting job is Hill's whenever he gets healthy, and Hill was nearly able to start in Week 3. Austin Davis has played well in Hill's absence, but Fisher has been unwavering in his support of Hill. Unless something changes, Hill should be the quarterback against Philadelphia.
Sun Sep 21 201413:03Hill's teammate
Hill's teammate, Austin Davis, was announced as the Rams' starting QB in advance of Sunday's game against the Cowboys, ESPN's Nick Wagoner reports.
The Rams waited until just before kickoff to make the call, but Davis gets the nod after all.
Sun Sep 21 201412:45Hill (quad) listed as active for Sunday's game against Cowboys
Hill (quad) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
Previous reports suggested that the Rams were expected to start Austin Davis in Sunday's contest, but in advance of the game, the team has yet to announce a starter at QB, with ESPN's Nick Wagoner noting that both QB's took pre-game reps. There's enough uncertainly here leading up to kickoff to make either QB a risky roll.
Sun Sep 21 201411:51Hill (thigh) active for Sunday's game versus Cowboys
Hill (thigh) is active for Sunday's game versus the Cowboys, Myles Simmons of the Rams' official site reports.
Hill, who tested out his injured thigh in pregame warmups, is active for a second week in a row. Even so, a healthy Austin Davis is expected to usurp Hill for the starting gig, thereby relegating Hill to a persona non grata in fantasy once again.
Sun Sep 21 201410:30Hill will assess injured thigh in pregame warmups
Hill will assess his injured thigh in pregame warmups, but Austin Davis is still expected to earn the start Sunday against the Cowboys, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
With limited practices under his belt all week, Hill is seemingly approaching a return to full health. However, the Rams' bye week immediately follows Sunday's contest, giving the team every reason to exercise caution with the veteran quarterback. His replacement, Austin Davis, has fared well to date, completing 38-of-52 passes for 427 yards and one interception across a game and a half.

Hill (thigh) is questionable for Sunday's game against Dallas after a limited Friday practice, St. Louis Post-Dispatch writer Jim Thomas reports.
According to Thomas, it appears that Hill will sit out once again Sunday, which would leave Austin Davis as the team's starter against Dallas.
Thu Sep 18 201420:40Hill (thigh) limited again in Thursday's practice
Hill (thigh) was limited again in Thursday's practice, and coach Jeff Fisher stated that a decision will be made on the Rams' starting quarterback after pregame warmups Sunday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Although Hill added a few more reps to his workload, he remained limited in his activity level. He appears as if he'll be resigned to a game-time decision in Week 3, as he attempts to recover from the thigh injury suffered in the regular season opener. If he sits, Austin Davis will again be under center for the Rams.
Wed Sep 17 201418:11Hill (thigh) limited participant in Wednesday's practice
Hill (thigh) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Hill's workload was contained to individual work, while Austin Davis handled most of the reps with the first-team offense once again. If healthy, Hill is the starting QB in St. Louis, but with a bye week to follow Sunday's contest versus the Cowboys, a cautious approach may still be utilized with the veteran.

Hill (thigh), who will start Sunday against the Cowboys if healthy, likely won't practice Wednesday but may attempt to Thursday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
With a bye week to follow Sunday's game, another DNP could come to pass in order to allow additional recovery time for Hill's thigh. No matter how the week proceeds, Austin Davis is ready and will take direct the Rams' offense, if Hill is ultimately unused.
