Olivares doesn't offer a huge amount of power or speed, with just three homers and two steals on the year, but he's slashed .412/.500/.412 over his last seven games and could make an intriguing short-term pickup, at least for the next few days while the Royals have lost so many unvaccinated players for the series in Toronto and playing time will be readily available.
