Sat Feb 15 201400:08Chris Duhon signs in Europe on Friday
Chris Duhon signed with Caserta in Italy on Friday, according to Yahoo! Sports.
He had a couple bright spots thanks to coach Mike D'Antoni and some other injuries to fellow point guards, but he'll have a tough time ever making it back to the NBA. Duhon is probably more famous for the picture on Twitter of his Lamborghini breaking down earlier this month, which isn't really a bad thing. He's unlikely to be back in the NBA, but at least he's still able to play ball for a living.

Tue Oct 15 201311:16Chris Duhon victim of hit-and-run accident
Chris Duhon was the victim of a hit-and-run on Saturday, while walking with his brother-in-law through a parking garage in Orlando.
Duhon reportedly landed on the car's hood and slammed his head into the windshield. He was taken to a hospital where he said he couldn't remember the incident, but it seems he avoided any major injuries. Duhon, who drew passing interest from the Knicks and Sixers this summer, intends to press charges against the as-yet-unidentified assailant.

Wed Aug 7 201313:15Knicks, Sixers interested in Chris Duhon
Free agent Chris Duhon is garnering interest from both the Knicks and the Sixers.
Duhon, who is somehow only 30 years old, was waived by the Lakers back in June and has drawn little interest. A return to the Knicks would bring him back to the place where he averaged a career-best 11.1 points and 7.2 assists per game in 2008-09. Both teams have a hole at backup point guard, and Duhon could be in for something similar to the 18 minutes per game he logged for Los Angeles last season.

Sat Jun 29 201320:27Lakers waive Chris Duhon, saving $2 million
The Lakers officially waived Chris Duhon on Saturday.
Duhon's contract was only partially-guaranteed, so the move saves L.A. over $2 million next season. He's only 30 years old, so he's not washed up, but he also has a career FG percentage of 39.3 percent and is ill-suited for more than a backup role. In 46 appearances with the Lakers last season, he averaged 2.9 points and 2.9 assists in 18 minutes per game.

Mon Apr 29 201309:47Report: Chris Duhon likely to be bought out
Chris Duhon is likely to be bought out, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Duhon is under contract for $3.75 million, but the Times writes that Duhon "won't be back," almost as if it's already decided. With the Lakers offering Duhon guaranteed money to walk away if the team does pursue a buy out, it wouldn't surprise us to see the veteran gladly accept it and walk away.

Fri Jan 4 201322:24Chris Duhon will play on Friday
Chris Duhon (back) says he will play against the Lakers on Friday.
The Lakers could use Duhon with their lack of depth behind Steve Nash. Duhon didn't practice Thursday and he probably won't be near his season average of 22.8 minutes per game. He can be ignored in standard leagues.

Thu Jan 3 201315:46Duhon (back spasms) misses practice Thursday
Chris Duhon (back spasms) did not practice Thursday.
His status for Friday's game against the Clippers likely won't be determined until Friday after shootaround. Darius Morris would see additional run backing up Steve Nash if Duhon sits out again.

Wed Jan 2 201307:56Chris Duhon will 'definitely' play Friday
Chris Duhon (back spasms), who did not play on Tuesday, said he will "definitely" play on Friday against the Clippers.
Duhon's absence meant Darius Morris soaked up some time as the backup point guard, but Duhon should be back on Friday barring any setbacks.

Tue Jan 1 201321:40Chris Duhon still out with back spasms
Chris Duhon (back) will not play against the Sixers on Tuesday.
He suffered back spasms in Sunday's practice and is day-to-day with the injury. Darius Morris will have to pick up some of the slack to back up Steve Nash.

Mon Dec 31 201215:18Duhon day-to-day w/ back spasms
Chris Duhon is day-to-day with back spasms.
He didn't practice on Monday but he has been expected to return for Tuesday's game, so we're considering him questionable. With Steve Nash healthy, his presence doesn't have an impact in standard leagues.

Sun Dec 30 201215:54Chris Duhon leaves practice with back spasms
Chris Duhon left Sunday's practice early due to back spasms.
He has been playing about 13 minutes per game with Steve Nash back in the fold, which excludes the garbage time on Friday. If Duhon can't suit up for Tuesday, the Lakers might have to count on Darius Morris to back up Nash.

Sun Dec 16 201221:45Chris Duhon back on track w/ 14-point effort
Chris Duhon finished Sunday's win with 14 points, four assists and four 3-pointers, while playing 30 minutes in another start at PG.
The veteran launched 10 attempts from downtown and clearly has a green light from Mike D'Antoni while Steve Nash (leg) and Steve Blake (abdomen) are out of the picture. With 10th-round value over the past two weeks, he's worth a look for those in need of 3-pointers and assists.

Fri Dec 14 201223:44Duhon dealing with back issue
Chris Duhon scored six points on 2-of-5 shooting (all threes) with two rebounds and five assists in 31 minutes on Friday against the Wizards.
Duhon was seen holding his back during the game, and we'll let you know if he pops up on the injury report. He is a low-end PG option in deeper formats until Steve Nash returns.

Mon Dec 10 201200:07Chris Duhon double-doubles w/ 11 dimes
Chris Duhon came to life with 12 points, four 3-pointers, five rebounds and 11 assists in a start at PG on Sunday.
This makes three straight solid games for Duhon as a starter, and owners looking for short-term assists and 3-pointers should overcome their disbelief and take him as a flier. Steve Nash has been deemed unlikely to return during the Lakers' upcoming road trip, solidifying Duhon's week-long outlook.

Sat Dec 8 201204:03Duhon scores 14 points with four threes
Chris Duhon scored 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting (including four threes) with three rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 36 minutes on Friday against the Thunder.
This is certainly an eye-opener and surely you or your friends told a Chris Duhon joke tonight. But after six points, five rebounds, and seven assists on Tuesday it's possible that he's taking to Mike D'Antoni's system well and this is the short-term future for him until Steve Nash returns.

Tue Dec 4 201223:15Chris Duhon plays well in start at PG
Chris Duhon started at point guard and had six points, five rebounds, seven assists and a steal on 2-of-4 shooting in 38 minutes of Tuesday's ugly loss at Houston.
Duhon is worth a deep-league look for as long as Steve Nash is out, but is still likely to leave a void in the scoring category in fantasy.

Tue Dec 4 201212:46Chris Duhon will start on Tuesday vs. HOU
Updating a previous item, Chris Duhon will start over Darius Morris on Tuesday against the Rockets.
Mike D'Antoni hinted that was the direction he was leaning in after the Lakers loss to the Magic, so no surprise here. Owners in need of a PG can give Duhon a brief look, but we're not expecting any miracles.

Tue Dec 4 201209:55Chris Duhon could start over Morris Tuesday
Chris Duhon could start at PG over Darius Morris on Tuesday against the Rockets.
"There's a chance," Mike D'Antoni said. "We'll talk about it tomorrow. That's nothing against Darius. He's learning. he's got to get better." Duhon has familiarity with D'Antoni's system from their days in New York together, but no matter who starts, the ball is going to be in Kobe's hands more often than not with Steve Nash (leg) still out.

Fri Oct 12 201209:08Chris Duhon, Steve Blake on the trade block
Steve Blake and Chris Duhon are available via trade, sources tell ESPN's Marc Stein.
The Lakers would love to get one of the two contracts off the books with a $100 million payroll, but no team is going to just absorb either deal without getting something more in return. Los Angeles could certainly strike a deal at some point as the team also has Darius Morris in the fold, but for now, both veterans will remain with the team.

Tue Sep 25 201209:30Chris Duhon wants to play for Lakers
Chris Duhon said "I want to play," when asked about how he sees his role with the Lakers.
Acquired in the Dwight Howard trade, Duhon is expecting to play and not simply sit on the bench. With Steve Blake (foot) sidelined to begin training camp, Duhon will have a serious opportunity to cement himself as a reliable backup behind Steve Nash. "I want to be in the rotation," Duhon said. He spent the offseason improving his quickness, dropped 10 lbs, worked on his shooting and ball-handling.
