Mon Apr 15 201310:27Marquis Daniels dealing with leg injury
Marquis Daniels is questionable for Monday's game against the Nuggets because of lower leg pain.
Daniels has lower leg pain in his right leg, and it's not clear what the cause is right now. It's not expected to be serious, but it's something to monitor with the playoffs right around the corner.

Wed Apr 10 201322:37Marquis Daniels plays 37 minutes vs. Orlando
Marquis Daniels shot 6-of-12 from the field for 14 points with seven boards, three steals and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes against the Magic on Wednesday.
The Bucks were running out of bodies tonight and they had no choice but to play Daniels extended minutes. He'll need Brandon Jennings and Ersan Ilyasova to miss time more time in order to be on the radar in most formats.

Thu Mar 28 201323:13Marquis Daniels scores 16 points
Marquis Daniels scored 16 points with one board, one assist, three steals and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes against the Lakers.
He was been off the map with only 4.8 points per game and 18.0 minutes in his previous five, so we'll need to see it again in order to suggest him as a pickup.

Fri Mar 15 201319:38Daniels to start and cover LeBron on Friday
Marquis Daniels will start at small forward in Friday's game against the Heat, sending Mike Dunleavy to the bench.
It's a good idea but mostly irrelevant from a fantasy perspective. Owners probably should wait-and-see how Dunleavy does after his disaster from Wednesday, anyway.

Tue Feb 19 201318:47Marquis Daniels inactive Tuesday
Marquis Daniels (illness) is inactive for Tuesday's game against the Nets.
Daniels has appeared in just three of the Bucks' eight games this month. Perhaps the more interesting note is that Monta Ellis is in the starting lineup, meaning no trade is going down Tuesday.

Thu Feb 7 201300:59Marquis Daniels returns with no points
Marquis Daniels returned from personal reasons and failed to score in 17 minutes in a start vs. Utah on Wednesday.
He got the start against the Jazz with Luc Richard Mbah a Moute dealing with a sore knee. Daniels will need a lot of things to happen to have value in almost any league.

Sun Dec 30 201200:52Marquis Daniels awful, hits just 1-of-9 FGs
Marquis Daniels made just 1-of-9 shots on Saturday to finish with two points.
Since injuring his foot over a week ago, Daniels is a combined 6-of-27 from the field in four games. He was playing well in early December and presumably the injury is slowing him down, but either way he's not an option in 12-team leagues.

Sat Dec 22 201201:06Daniels goes scoreless on Friday
Marquis Daniels suffered a foot injury in Friday's game, and finished with zero points on 0-for-5 shooting, two rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 19 minutes.
With this type of output it's fair to wonder if the injury impacted his performance, but either way this outing is enough to send Daniels to the waiver wire in most formats. He returned to action so we're going to keep him off the injury report for now, but any absence could open things up for Ersan Ilyasova and Mike Dunleavy.

Fri Dec 21 201221:12Marquis Daniels suffers foot injury
Marquis Daniels suffered a left foot injury in Friday's game and is available to return.
Daniels' minutes were cut to just 22 in back-to-back games with Mike Dunleavy back on the floor. He serves as a low-upside player in deeper leagues.

Sun Dec 16 201200:27Marquis Daniels scores 16 pts in blowout
Marquis Daniels scored 16 points for Milwaukee on Saturday, two shy of his season-high, making 6-of-13 FGs with two 3-pointers.
Quis chipped in five boards, two steals and one block, but the Bucks couldn't generate any offense and wound up shooting 36.1 percent from the field, as they fell to 12-10 on the season.

Sat Dec 15 201200:51Daniels scores five points on Friday
Marquis Daniels scored five points on 2-of-5 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds, one steal, and one block in 28 minutes on Friday against the Cavs.
Daniels made some small waves throughout the past week or so, but even with the decent peripherals this line shows why we weren't all that high on him. Especially as players get healthy, he should resume being waiver wire fodder.

Sat Dec 8 201203:02Daniels scores 18 points with three treys
Marquis Daniels started at small forward and scored 18 points on Friday against the Bobcats, hitting 7-of-11 shots (including three treys) with six rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes.
Daniels is a Skiles guy, but there are too many issues including his injury risk, Mike Dunleavy's potential return, and the likely chance that this is his high water mark. Owners should just watch him for now in most formats.

Wed Dec 5 201208:48Skiles won't commit to Daniels at SF
Scott Skiles would not commit to Marquis Daniels as his starting small forward.
Of course he wouldn't. Skiles is notorious for shuffling rotations at the drop of a hat, and it appears he may do so again at small forward. "A lot will depend on how Marquis plays there," coach Scott Skiles said. "And if and when we feel Luc is ready to play more minutes. That stuff will play itself out." Daniels, Mbah a Moute, Mike Dunleavy and Tobias Harris are all options, while Ersan Ilyasova could play there in a big lineup.

Mon Dec 3 201218:49Marquis Daniels to start at SF on Monday
Marquis Daniels will get another start at SF for the Bucks on Monday.
"[Daniels] is a good solid player ... and a solid defender," said Scott Skiles. "We'll keep him in the starting lineup for now and see what happens." Tobias Harris picked up a DNP-CD in Milwaukee's last game, and Daniels' closest competition at the moment seems to be Mike Dunleavy, who is expected to play after sitting out Saturday w/ a bruised knee.

Sun Dec 2 201200:59Marquis Daniels starts and plays 36 minutes
In his first start of the season, Marquis Daniels notched eight points, five assists and one steal in 36 minutes of action.
Daniels has been unremarkable all year and he isn't likely to catch fire with a few extra minutes. Ignore him outside of the deepest leagues, unless Mike Dunleavy's knee injury turns out to be serious, or Marquis does something to demand our attention.
