The 24-year-old hit just .220/.261/.319 between High-A and Double-A this season, and the Giants ultimately decided his 40-man roster spot was better used on someone else. Carbonell signed a four-year, $3.5 million contract with the Giants in June of 2014 after defecting from Cuba. | ||||||
