Brett (shoulder) was reinstated from the 15-day DL and optioned to Triple-A Durham on Thursday.

Brett started the season with the Bulls, and this was fully expected to be his ultimate landing spot following three rehab games in the minors. He'll hang on to his spot on the 40-man roster, however, so he could be an option down the stretch if the Rays find themselves in need of infield help.

Considering that he's played 132 games at the Double-A level, a move to Triple-A Durham seems imminent. Brett offers fantasy owners speed (31 steals in 38 attempts at Double-A) and the ability to hit for average, making him a prospect of sorts for owners in deep dynasty leagues scrounging for options to stash at second base.
