F Carmelo Anthony added a game-high 26 points as the Thunder dropped to 1-1.

That's going to be our blueprint, defensive stops."Harden was on target, shooting 9 of 15 from the field for 26 points in the first half alone. He scored 27 points in each of the first two games.Harden has hit four or more 3-pointers in three straight games. Harden did that 37 times last season.

C Greg Monroe was retroactively assessed with a flagrant-1 foul after NBA officials reviewed a play from Friday's game that resulted in Cleveland's Derrick Rose suffering an ankle injury.

C Robin Lopez scored 16 points for the Bulls Saturday.

C Jusuf Nurkic added 17 for the Blazers, who managed to stay close all night despite shooting a season-low 42.5 percent from the floor.Nurkic recorded his second double-double of the season Saturday, finishing with 17 points and 11 rebounds. He had 13 double-doubles a year ago.

G Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum led Portland with 26 points each Saturday.

C Myles Turner will undergo his first evaluations to comply with the league-mandated concussion protocol on Sunday, coach Nate McMillan said. Turner, who is also sidelined because of a sore neck, was hurt in the season-opening victory over Brooklyn on Wednesday.

G/F Danny Green added 10 points for San Antonio.

C Hassan Whiteside sat out Saturday's game because of a bruised left knee. His return depends on the progress of his daily re-evaluation, according to Heat coach Erik Spoelstra. Whiteside suffered the injury in Miami's season-opening loss against Orlando on Wednesday

F LaMarcus Aldridge scored 28 points and had 10 rebounds, and the Spurs scored 23 points off of turnovers in an 87-77 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night.Aldridge continued to be the centerpiece on offense as he picks up the slack of the injured Leonard, will still be out for several weeks with right quadriceps tendinopathy."(Leonard) is our main guy and so now that he's out, I'm just trying to help carry the offense a little bit until he's back," Aldridge said.Aldridge did that and more Saturday night."L.A. was just a difference maker for us with the way he scored," Popovich said. "The defense in the second half and L.A.'s offense was what (made the difference)."
