C JaVale McGee made all seven of his shots, good for 15 points, in 13 minutes.

PF Draymond Green had a 12-rebound, 10-assist double-double to go with six points.

G Russell Westbrook posted a triple-double of 51 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists. His scoring total was the highest for a postseason triple-double in NBA history.

G Eric Gordon gave the Rockets their first lead with his 3-pointer with 8:08 left in the fourth quarter. He delivered the decisive blow with 1:48 left, drilling a 28-footer to extend the lead to eight and give Houston a 2-0 series lead. "They had a great start and it was great composure on our part to stay within the game," said Gordon, who totaled 22 points and four rebounds in 30 minutes. "We lit a fire off the bench and in the second half we just played better overall defense. It was good that we kept the pace going. In the second half, we had a great collective effort."

G Lou Williams scored 21 points and combined with Eric Gordon to shoot 16 of 28, including 6 for 10 on 3-pointers.

G James Harden tallied 35 points, hitting 18 of 20 free throws, and eight assists as Houston rallied to beat Oklahoma City. Harden scored 30-plus points for the fourth time in his last five postseason games and the 14th time in his postseason career, second in franchise history. Hakeem Olajuwon produced 53 30-point postseason games.

G John Wall scored 32 points as the Wizards outdueled the Hawks 109-101 to take a 2-0 lead in their first-round Eastern Conference playoff series. Wall and Bradley Beal scored 20 of Washington's final 21 points in the foul-plaguedgame after the Wizards trailed 89-88 with 6:03 remaining. "We just have a lot of confidence," Wall said about the pair turning into closers for Washington during their third playoff appearance and first since 2015. "We've been in these situations where coaches know we're going to get the ball. We were doing a great job of making shots, but also making the right reads for our teammates."

G Bradley Beal scored 16 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter as the Wizards outdueled the Hawks 109-101 to take a 2-0 lead in their first-round Eastern Conference playoff series. "I'm proud of the way Brad played," Wizards coach Scott Brooks said. "He didn't shoot the ball well and he didn't give in to a bad shooting night. Then it came around to him. The game rewards you."

G Brandon Jennings scored 10 points. The veteran guard, acquired by Washington last month, hit back-to-back jumpers and fed Jason Smith for a tying dunk during a 70-second flurry.

F Markieff Morris and Otto Porter played a total of six minutes in the third quarter after each picked up his fourth foul early in the quarter. Morris, who had 21 points in 38 minutes in Game 1, had three in 20 during Game 2.
