"You always take shots you think you can make in the flow of the game and live with the results, and you can't get discouraged if you miss. My teammates have a lot of confidence in me to make plays. Down the stretch in the fourth quarter, there were a lot of voices in my ears, telling me to keep shooting. You can't get too low, can't get too high. That's my philosophy."

G Klay Thompson scored 14 of his 24 points in the third quarter in Saturday's 119-113 victory at Portland.

G Vince Carter scored 13 points and became the first 40-year-old to make at least three triples in a playoff game, going 3-for-5 from long range in Saturday's 110-108 overtime victory over San Antonio.

F Paul Millsap had 29 points and 14 rebounds for his second straight double-double in Saturday's 116-98 victory over Washington. "Paul was great," Atlanta coach Mike Budenholzer said. "He got a lot on random shots -- his activity on the pick and roll, without the pick and roll, mixing up what he does." Millsap was 12 of 20 from the field and had five assists. His only problem was at the line, where he was 5 of 9. Millsap had 19 double-doubles during the regular season and is averaging 25 points in the playoffs.

G John Wall scored 29 points in Saturday's 116-98 loss in Atlanta. Wall was 10 of 12 from the field and added seven assists and four rebounds. Wall scored 32 points in each of the first two games of the best-of-seven series. Wall was assessed a technical foul for some verbal sparring with Hawks G Dennis Schroder after a foul in the third quarter.

G Dennis Schroder scored 27 points in Saturday's 116-98 victory over Washington. Schroder, who is averaging 25 points in the playoffs, scored 20 in the first half Saturday, and added nine assists. Schroder was assessed a technical foul for some verbal sparring with Wizards G John Wall after a foul in the third quarter.

G Damian Lillard scored 31 points in Saturday's 119-113 loss to Golden State. Lillard reached the 30-point mark for the ninth time in his postseason career.

C Jusuf Nurkic, who had missed nine straight games with a displaced fracture of his right leg, made his first appearance of the series in Saturday's 119-113 loss to Golden State. Nurkic started, contributing two points, 11 rebounds and four assists in 17 minutes.

C Ian Mahinmi missed his second straight game Saturday with a strained left calf. Mahinmi warmed up before the game, but team officials said he would not play.

C JaVale McGee, who scored 14 points on 6-for-8 shooting in Saturday's 119-113 loss to Golden State, is 16 for 19 from the field in the series.

G DeMar DeRozan scored 33 points on 12-of-22 shooting in Saturday's 87-76 victory in Milwaukee. DeRozan, who was held to eight free throws while missing all eight of his shots from the field two nights earlier, proved that performance was merely an aberration Saturday afternoon. "I'm never too high, I'm never too low," DeRozan said. "I kept a level head. I knew lighting wasn't going to strike twice in the same place." He hit 3 of 4 shots for six points in the opening quarter but blew up in the second, scoring 15 to give him 21 for the half. It was DeRozan's third career playoff game with 30 points or more.

F Kawhi Leonard scored a career-high 43 points, including the last 16 San Antonio points, in Satuday's 110-108 overtime loss in Memphis. The Spurs' young star hit 7 of 10 shots from 3-point range, made one-legged, fade-away jumpers and put his team on his back while scoring eight of their 12 points in overtime. "It's scary as hell watching (Leonard). He was unbelievable," Grizzlies G Mike Conley said. Leonard added eight rebounds, six steals and three assists to his stat line and his fade-away jumper with 12 seconds left in regulation gave San Antonio a 96-94 lead. After Memphis tied the score, Leonard missed a contested 21-footer at the buzzer to send the game into overtime. "Honestly, I'm taking suggestions on how to guard Kawhi Leonard," Grizzlies coach David Fizdale said. "I've tried everything and the guy is just tough. Man, is he a superstar."

G Mike Conley scored a postseason franchise-record 35 points and had nine rebounds and eight assists in Saturday's 110-108 overtime victory over San Antonio. Conley, who had 11 points in the fourth, made a floater in the lane with 4.5 seconds left to tie the game at 96 and sent it to overtime.

San Antonio Spurs center Dewayne Dedmon sat out Saturday's Game 4 of the Western Conference first-round series against the host Memphis Grizzlies because of an illness.The Spurs, who entered the contest with a 2-1 series advantage, made the announcement approximately two hours before tipoff.San Antonio elected to start with a smaller lineup as opposed to inserting Pau Gasol immediately into the game to square off against his brother, Memphis center Marc Gasol.Dedmon, 27, has averaged 1.3 points per game in the series after recording 5.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest during the regular season.

Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic, who has been out for three weeks with a nondisplaced fracture in his right leg, is scheduled to start Game 3 against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night in Portland, Ore.Meanwhile, the Warriors will be without forward Kevin Durant for the second straight game because of a calf injury. He was listed as questionable for Saturday's contest up until nearly game time.
