Jerrett (ankle) will not play in Sunday's preseason game against the Timberwolves.
Jerrett had a rough go of it during his rookie season as he was only able to play in 37 games for the Thunder at 7.7 minutes averaged per contest. Things won't likely change during his second year in the league as he's already dealing with a prolonged ankle injury and has too many players ahead of him on the depth chart.

The deal is for the rest of the season. He had a very impressive Orlando Summer League, but hasn't been on the floor yet in the NBA season. During his 27 D-League games, Jarrett averaged 15.1 points and 6.1 boards in 29.3 minutes. He won't have fantasy value.

Sun Jul 7 201317:35Grant Jerrett shines in Summer League debut
Grant Jerrett turned some heads in his Orlando Summer League debut on Sunday, scoring 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting with four boards, one steal, three blocks and four 3-pointers in 27 minutes.
He played just one year at Arizona before jumping to the NBA and slipped all the way to the 40th pick in the draft. Jerrett was an All-American in high school and always had the talent with a well-rounded game at 6'10". Jerrett's season high with the Wildcats was just 15 points, so this outburst today was a bit unexpected. This is nice and all, but the Thunder are kind of set at their small forward and power forward spots.
