Vasquez will be traded to Milwaukee for two draft picks, ESPN's Marc Stein reports.

The Bucks will send the 46th overall pick in the 2015 Draft and a first-round pick in 2017 that originally belonged to the Clippers. The acquisition could be an indication that the Bucks are concerned they'll lose Khris Middleton, a restricted free agent.

Vasquez averaged 9.5 points (41% FG, 38% 3Pt, 76% FT), 2.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.1 blocks in 24 minutes per game during 82 regular season games in 2014-15.

Vasquez posted 7.5 points (38% FG, 36% 3Pt, 100% FT), 1.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 0.5 steals in 25 minutes per game in four postseason contests versus the Wizards. The 28-year-old backup guard is on the Raptors' books for $6.6 million in 2015-16.

Vasquez started for DeMar DeRozan (rest) and put up 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt), five rebounds, and seven assists in 32 minutes in the loss to Boston on Tuesday.

Vasquez has earned 29 starts this season and has shown to be productive when given minutes. He has nice court vision, but likely won't play a huge number of minutes in the playoffs behind Kyle Lowry and DeRozan.

Vasquez will get the start at shooting guard Tuesday, the Toronto Sun's Mike Ganter reports.

DeMar DeRozan will get a night off to rest as Tuesday represents the first game of a back-to-back to finish the season. Vasquez will be a solid play in daily leagues, as the other starters could see slightly less minutes than usual on Tuesday.

Those numbers are comparable to his season averages, though he shot particularly well from three over the past seven games: 45.2 percent (6.0 attempts per game), compared to his 37.6 percent on the season.

Vasquez scored 16 points (6-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt) with five rebounds and four assists in 36 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Hornets.

Outside of his three-point shooting, his production has been spotty since he took over starting point guard duties from Kyle Lowry (back), and Vasquez is averaging 10.7 points, 4.0 assists, 3.3 boards and 2.7 threes over his last seven games. With the Raptors having no timetable yet for Lowry's return, Vasquez will likely remain in the starting five for the rest of the regular season.

Vasquez continued to start for Kyle Lowry (back) and had seven points (3-10 FG, 1-5 3Pt), four rebounds, and four assists in 33 minutes in the loss to the Nets on Friday.

Despite playing at least 30 minutes in his last three games, Vasquez has only averaged 8.0 points, 2.0 3-pointers, 3.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. Lowry is not expected back too soon, so Vasquez could be a play for owners looking for assists.

Vasquez is expected to remain the starting point guard for at least two more games, Josh Lewenberg of TSN reports.

It should be noted that Vasquez has not officially been named the starter, but he's filled in for Kyle Lowry (back) all season, so there is really not reason to believe that won't continue. Lowry has been ruled out for Wednesday's game, and the team said he's highly unlikely to play Friday against Brooklyn. While Vazquez should see a minutes load in the low-30s, he's somewhat of a risky play after an ugly three-point (1-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt) performance against the Rockets on Monday.

Vasquez disappointed in his start Friday against the Lakers, posting just five points and five assists in 26 minutes of action.

Vasquez may continue to see a lot of opportunities to contribute with Kyle Lowry (back) out. However, Friday's performance didn't quite help owners. Still, Vasquez is known to be a solid player when given the minutes, so he's worth holding onto in 12-man leagues until further notice.

He was on fire early from beyond the arc, but Vasquez faded in the fourth quarter on the second night of a back-to-back as the Raptors let a crucial win through their fingers. With Kyle Lowry's availability in question in the short term due to his back injury, Vasquez should continue to see significant minutes.

Lowry has been ruled out Wednesday, and at this point it's unclear whether he'll miss any additional time. Regardless, Vasquez will be his replacement at point guard, and he should see a relatively heavy workload with Lou Williams as the only other option.
