Thu Jun 25 201521:11Greivis Vasquez: Traded to Bucks
Vasquez will be traded to Milwaukee for two draft picks, ESPN's Marc Stein reports.
The Bucks will send the 46th overall pick in the 2015 Draft and a first-round pick in 2017 that originally belonged to the Clippers. The acquisition could be an indication that the Bucks are concerned they'll lose Khris Middleton, a restricted free agent.

Vasquez averaged 9.5 points (41% FG, 38% 3Pt, 76% FT), 2.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.1 blocks in 24 minutes per game during 82 regular season games in 2014-15.
Vasquez posted 7.5 points (38% FG, 36% 3Pt, 100% FT), 1.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 0.5 steals in 25 minutes per game in four postseason contests versus the Wizards. The 28-year-old backup guard is on the Raptors' books for $6.6 million in 2015-16.

Vasquez started for DeMar DeRozan (rest) and put up 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt), five rebounds, and seven assists in 32 minutes in the loss to Boston on Tuesday.
Vasquez has earned 29 starts this season and has shown to be productive when given minutes. He has nice court vision, but likely won't play a huge number of minutes in the playoffs behind Kyle Lowry and DeRozan.
Tue Apr 14 201518:54Vasquez will get start at shooting guard Tuesday
Vasquez will get the start at shooting guard Tuesday, the Toronto Sun's Mike Ganter reports.
DeMar DeRozan will get a night off to rest as Tuesday represents the first game of a back-to-back to finish the season. Vasquez will be a solid play in daily leagues, as the other starters could see slightly less minutes than usual on Tuesday.
Fri Apr 10 201517:49Vasquez will return to bench role Friday against Orlando
Vasquez will return to a bench role Friday against Orlando.
With Kyle Lowry (back) returning to the lineup Friday, Vasquez will move back into a reserve role after making seven starts in Lowry's stead. In that span, Vasquez averaged 10.7 points, 4.0 assists and 3.3 rebounds while shooting 40.3 percent from the field. Those numbers are comparable to his season averages, though he shot particularly well from three over the past seven games: 45.2 percent (6.0 attempts per game), compared to his 37.6 percent on the season.

Vasquez scored 16 points (6-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt) with five rebounds and four assists in 36 minutes during Wednesday's win over the Hornets.
Outside of his three-point shooting, his production has been spotty since he took over starting point guard duties from Kyle Lowry (back), and Vasquez is averaging 10.7 points, 4.0 assists, 3.3 boards and 2.7 threes over his last seven games. With the Raptors having no timetable yet for Lowry's return, Vasquez will likely remain in the starting five for the rest of the regular season.

Vasquez continued to start for Kyle Lowry (back) and had seven points (3-10 FG, 1-5 3Pt), four rebounds, and four assists in 33 minutes in the loss to the Nets on Friday.
Despite playing at least 30 minutes in his last three games, Vasquez has only averaged 8.0 points, 2.0 3-pointers, 3.7 rebounds, and 4.3 assists. Lowry is not expected back too soon, so Vasquez could be a play for owners looking for assists.
Wed Apr 1 201513:03Vasquez expected to remain starting point guard for at least two...
Vasquez is expected to remain the starting point guard for at least two more games, Josh Lewenberg of TSN reports.
It should be noted that Vasquez has not officially been named the starter, but he's filled in for Kyle Lowry (back) all season, so there is really not reason to believe that won't continue. Lowry has been ruled out for Wednesday's game, and the team said he's highly unlikely to play Friday against Brooklyn. While Vazquez should see a minutes load in the low-30s, he's somewhat of a risky play after an ugly three-point (1-10 FG, 1-6 3Pt) performance against the Rockets on Monday.

Vasquez disappointed in his start Friday against the Lakers, posting just five points and five assists in 26 minutes of action.
Vasquez may continue to see a lot of opportunities to contribute with Kyle Lowry (back) out. However, Friday's performance didn't quite help owners. Still, Vasquez is known to be a solid player when given the minutes, so he's worth holding onto in 12-man leagues until further notice.

Vasquez scored 22 points (7-15 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with three assists, two rebounds and a steal in 31 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Bulls.
He was on fire early from beyond the arc, but Vasquez faded in the fourth quarter on the second night of a back-to-back as the Raptors let a crucial win through their fingers. With Kyle Lowry's availability in question in the short term due to his back injury, Vasquez should continue to see significant minutes.

Vasquez will start Wednesday's game in place of Kyle Lowry (back).
Lowry has been ruled out Wednesday, and at this point it's unclear whether he'll miss any additional time. Regardless, Vasquez will be his replacement at point guard, and he should see a relatively heavy workload with Lou Williams as the only other option.
Tue Mar 24 201519:19Vasquez will come off bench for Tuesday's game against Pistons
Vasquez will come off the bench for Tuesday's game against the Pistons, broadcaster Mark Champion reports.
Vasquez was inserted into the starting lineup for the previous two Toronto games but Kyle Lowry (back) will take back his normal role as a starter Tuesday and moving forward. This means that Vasquez is expected to see limited minutes off the bench behind Lowry as the season draws to a close.

Vasquez is expected to come off the bench in Tuesday's game against the Pistons.
Normal starter Kyle Lowry (back) will return to the court Tuesday so it would seem likely that Vasquez will relinquish his current position as a starter. As a result, Vasquez' value should also take a hit in standard leagues as his minutes are curbed off the bench moving forward.

Vasquez posted 12 points (5-8 FG, 2-2 FT) and one assist in 34 minutes against the Knicks on Sunday.
Vasquez was put into the starting lineup for the second straight game after Kyle Lowry (back) was once again ruled out. The matchup against the Knicks was a good one on paper for Vasquez, but he was not able to do much across all categories. He is averaging 10.9 points, 4.6 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 20 games this season as a starter, so he remains just an average option, even when Lowry is out.

Vasquez will remain in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Knicks.
Vasquez will be making his second-straight start for Kyle Lowry (back) on Sunday. It's still unclear how long Lowry will be sidelined, but Vasquez should benefit in the meantime.

Vasquez got the start over Kyle Lowry (back) on Friday and compiled 11 points, four rebounds, six assists, and one steal against the Bulls.
Lowry nearly played in Friday's game so Vasquez may move back to his assumed role off the bench shortly. Further news should be released ahead of Sunday's game against the Knicks.
Fri Mar 20 201519:42Vasquez will start in Friday's game against Bulls
Vasquez will start in Friday's game against the Bulls.
Vasquez is starting in place of Kyle Lowry (back) but normal starter Lowry is active for Friday's game so it's still unclear how each guard will be splitting their time on the court. Either way, both players are risky options since their roles are currently undefined ahead of Friday's tipoff.

Vasquez came off the bench for Friday's game against the Hornets to record two points and three rebounds in 14 minutes.
Vasquez has enjoyed stints in the starting lineup but he's line to come off the bench moving forward. As Friday's outing suggests, his value will likely be curbed by his inability to see enough time on the court.

Vasquez will move back to the bench for Friday's game against the Hornets.
Vasquez should see reduced opportunities moving forward as Kyle Lowry (rest) moves back into the starting lineup moving forward in the final leg of the season.

Vasquez scored six points (2-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT) with 12 assists, three rebounds and two steals in 39 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Cavaliers.
In three games while Kyle Lowry (rest) has been sidelined, Vasquez is averaging 10.7 points, 7.7 assists, 3.7 boards and 2.3 threes. As long as Lowry is out, Vasquez has solid value, but he could return to the bench at any time.
