Gee scored 15 points (4-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-7 FT) to go along with two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 30 minutes Monday against the Hornets.
Gee and the rest of the Nuggets' bench saw extended playing time Monday as this game got out of hand early. Fantasy owners should not expect this kind of scoring output from Gee on a regular basis.

Gee scored eight points (3-5 FG, 2-2 FT) and added two rebounds and one assist in 20 minutes of playing time against the Heat on Wednesday.
This was a result of a game that got out of hand and Gee was the benefactor as he was able to get some playing time. Gee is only averaging 14 minutes per game this season, so there is little value to be had here for fantasy basketball.

Gee averaging 13 minutes on the court over Denver's first four games of the season.
Gee was picked up by the Nuggets in the offseason after he was waived by the Kings in late September. Despite the offseason waive, the former Alabama standout has carved out a role in the Nuggets' rotation but will likely still be limited in terms of time spent on the court. Because of this, there are likely better options sitting on the waiver wire in standard leagues.
Tue Sep 30 201409:44Gee has signed with Nuggets
Gee has signed with the Nuggets, Sportando reports.
After seeing his playing time peak in 2012-13 with 31 minutes per game and averaging 10.3 ppg, Gee was a limited role player for Cleveland last season, seeing just 15.7 minutes per contest and chipping in just 4.0 ppg. With the move to Denver, it's reasonable to think that Gee could see a slightly increased role as part of the Nuggets' forward rotation.
Thu Sep 25 201415:30Gee officially waived by Kings on Thursday
Gee was officially waived by the Kings on Thursday, James Ham of Cowbell Kingdom reports.
As expected, Gee has been waived after coming to the Kings as part of the deal that sent Jason Terry to the Rockets. The move was essentially a salary dump for Sacramento, and Gee will now seek a new home after spending last season with the Cavaliers.

Gee will be traded to the Kings as part of a deal that will bring Jason Terry to Houston, Mark Berman of Fox 26 in Houston reports.
Gee has bounced around over the past few months, spending time with the Cavaliers, Pelicans, Rockets and, now, Kings. His deal for the upcoming is unguaranteed, so it's quite possible Sacramento opts to waive him. If that's the case, the veteran should draw considerable interest on the free agent market. The 27-year-old averaged 4.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 15.7 minutes per game for the Cavs last season but is just one year removed from posting 10.3 points and 3.9 boards while starting all 82 contests.
Sun Jul 13 201419:05Alonzo Gee traded to Rockets on Sunday
Alonzo Gee will be traded from the Pelicans to the Rockets as part of Sunday's complex three-team swap.
Gee was just acquired by New Orleans but they never intended to keep him -- his fully unguaranteed contract was simply a convenient chip to reduce the Pelicans' salary-cap figure. It's doubtful that the Rockets will keep him at $3 million this season, and he's likely to soon enter free agency.

Fri Jul 11 201416:02Report: Alonzo Gee headed to New Orleans
The Cavs have reportedly agreed to send Alonzo Gee to the Pelicans.
Details of the deal have yet to emerge. Gee was reportedly moved to Charlotte in a draft day deal for Brendan Haywood, but that deal will now be restructured (Cleveland will still receive former LeBron James nemesis Haywood). This move is mostly about salary, and will allow the Pelicans to complete their deal for Omer Asik.

Fri Jun 27 201401:02Gee heading to Charlotte in deal for No. 45
Alonzo Gee is reportedly heading to the Hornets as a part of the deal for No. 45 pick Dwight Powell.
The Hornets could certainly use some depth at the small forward position but details on this trade and pick seem to be fluid. We'll see how it settles throughout the night.

Fri Apr 11 201419:29Gee's up: Alonzo starting vs. Bucks
Alonzo Gee will start in place of Luol Deng (back) on Friday night vs. the Bucks.
It'll be his 22nd start and his previous 21 weren't great, averaging 4.8 points, 2.8 boards and 1.0 triples in 22.3 minutes. Gee is not worth using in almost any format on a 12-game night.

Sun Mar 23 201422:32Alonzo Gee goes back to bench, scores 11 pts
Alonzo Gee played 16 minutes off the bench with Luol Deng (ankle) active on Sunday, finishing with 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting, one 3-pointer, three boards, one assist and one block in 16 minutes.
Gee has been a non-entity in fantasy leagues all season. Tonight's game suggests that he's found a rhythm after logging solid minutes as a starter, but he's not worth a spot on typical fantasy rosters while Deng is in uniform.

Tue Mar 18 201422:20Alonzo Gee scores 12 in loss to Heat
Alonzo Gee started in place of Luol Deng (ankle) on Tuesday and hit 5-of-11 shots and two 3-pointers for 12 points, three rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks.
Gee was serviceable and did some nice things, but would only be worth grabbing if Deng is going to miss more time.

Tue Mar 18 201419:02Alonzo Gee starting at SF w/ Deng out Tuesday
Alonzo Gee will start at SF with Luol Deng (ankle) out on Tuesday.
Gee quickly fell out of favor as a starter earlier this season, with averages of 4.0 points and 2.9 rebounds in 20 minutes per game, and there's little incentive to gamble on him vs. Miami's defense, especially with Deng is day-today.

Fri Feb 21 201411:17Alonzo Gee to take Waiters' minutes
Coach Mike Brown said Alonzo Gee will take the majority of Dion Waiters' minutes while Waiters nurses a hyperextended knee.
Waiters, who was playing 24.4 minutes per game in February, has been listed as day-to-day. Gee will see plenty of burn off the bench with C.J. Miles (ankle) out as well, but production is a major concern. Even when Gee was playing 31.0 minutes per game last season, he averaged just 10.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists.

Sat Dec 28 201310:16Alonzo Gee has first DNP of season Thursday
Cavaliers coach Mike Brown opted not to play Alonzo Gee during Thursday's double-overtime loss to the Hawks, giving Gee his first DNP of the season.
Earl Clark started at SF and neither Gee nor Sergey Karasev stepped foot on the court. In 18 starts this season, Gee was averaging just 4.0 points in 20 minutes per game, so his disappearance isn't a total surprise. Clark also belongs on the waiver wire even though he's been slightly better, averaging 5.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.5 blocks in 10 starts this season.

Sat Dec 7 201322:22Alonzo Gee scoreless at SF, Cavs win anyway
The Cavaliers defeated the Clippers on Saturday despite a scoreless game from Alonzo Gee, who missed all four of his shot attempts.
The fifth-year swingman is averaging 3.7 points this season, and the uniumpressive play of Earl Clark (five points, zero rebounds in nine minutes) is the only reason Gee is still in the Cavs' starting lineup.

Mon Nov 11 201311:45Alonzo Gee, Earl Clark still vying at SF spot
Alonzo Gee's start at SF on Saturday might not be permanent, according to coach Mike Brown.
"I'm going to take it one game at a time," said Brown, who moved former starter Earl Clark to the bench. "I'll try to go with the best fit and go from there. I wanted something different with the starting lineup." As long as this SF battle is raging, neither player is a safe bet in fantasy lineups.

Sat Nov 9 201323:17Alonzo Gee doesn't do much in start
Alonzo Gee played just 20 minutes in his first start of the season on Saturday, scoring two points with three boards and three turnovers.
It didn't really make much sense for Mike Brown to put him in the starting lineup, but there were a few things that were strange. The Cavs used a ridiculous 11 players in the first quarter and his rotation is in disarray. Gee can remain on the wire in just about every league.

Sat Nov 9 201319:36Alonzo Gee moves into the starting lineup
Alonzo Gee will start at small forward on Saturday.
Coach Mike Brown has said that he was going to shake up his starting lineup, so he'll bump Earl Clark to the bench. Gee hasn't been too effective in 22 minutes, but the Cavs haven't really been able to get into a groove offensively. What's more, he is coming off a bad year, so he can be left on the wire in most leagues.

Tue Oct 22 201310:00Alonzo Gee, Earl Clark battling for SF job
Mike Brown said that Alonzo Gee and Earl Clark are both candidates to start at SF this season.
Reports over the summer suggested that Gee was viewed as a backup this year, but his play in the preseason may have changed the equation. "Prior to [Monday], they were close statistically," said Brown, after Gee made four 3-pointers to finish with 14 points and two blocks. "[Gee] played like a small forward should play. I'm going to keep looking at the different scenarios." The prospect of a minute-share at SF should scare away owners in standard fantasy leagues.
