Walker was again in the starting lineup during Saturday's overtime victory against the Kings, and finished with 11 points (4-8 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocked shots in 36 minutes.
Walker added a little bit of everything in this performance, rewarding any fantasy owners that may have taken a flier on him for this matchup. After combining to go 6-for-22 from the field over his last two games, it was good to see him have at least a little more success with his shot Saturday. As soon as Luol Deng (thigh) gets healthy, Walker will head back to the bench, which would further diminish his fantasy value. That could be as soon as Monday, so keep an eye on Deng's status before considering Walker as an option.

Walker moved into the starting lineup Friday against the Wizards and contributed eight points and four rebounds in 33 minutes.
Normal starter Luol Deng (thigh) was unable to play Friday so Walker was given the rare start. Walker had a lackluster performance against the Wizards but he's performed well during his short stint in Miami. In fact, he's on track to sign with Miami for the rest of the season.
Fri Mar 6 201519:29Walker took court as starter in Friday's game against Wizards
Walker took the court as a starter in Friday's game against the Wizards.
The Heat announced that Luol Deng (thigh) would not play mere minutes before tipoff, which allowed Walker to step into the starting lineup despite the fact that he's only on 10-day contract in Miami.
Mon Mar 2 201517:58Walker will sign second 10-day contract with Heat on Tuesday
Walker will sign a second 10-day contract with the Heat on Tuesday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
The move is essentially a formality, as Walker has been a very pleasant in his first four games with the Heat, averaging 11.8 points and 3.0 rebounds with 2.8 three-pointers per game in just under 28 minutes. His first 10-day deal will expire following Monday's game, so the Heat will then have an additional 10 days before they must decide whether or not to sign him for the remainder of the season. Walker will look to bounce back Monday against Phoenix after shooting just 3-of-16 from the field, including 2-of-11 from three, in Sunday's loss to Atlanta.
Sun Mar 1 201500:25Walker moved into starting lineup Saturday and finished with 10 ...
Walker moved into the starting lineup Saturday and finished with 10 points, two rebounds, and one assist over 26 minutes. He had a rough shooting night, however, as he went 2-for-11 from beyond the arc and 3-for-16 from the floor overall.
Walker has reached double figures in each of his last four games, but there have been a couple of poor shooting performances mixed in. He has gone 2-for-11 from beyond the arc twice in those four outings. If the Heat continue to give Walker 20+ minutes, his shot volume makes him a waiver-wire target in deeper formats.
Sat Feb 28 201519:25Walker starting Saturday's game against Hawks
Walker is starting Saturday's game against the Hawks.
The start is Walker's first since the 2011-12 season as a member of the Knicks. In three appearances with the Heat, he's so far averaging 12.3 points (on 42 percent shooting), 3.3 rebounds, three treys, one assist, and 0.7 steals in 28 minutes.

Walker scored 10 points (3-13 FG, 2-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with six rebounds, two assists and two steals in 33 minutes during Wednesday's victory over the Magic.
Walker scored 11 points in his debut for the Heat and was not shy about putting up shots in this game. He is worth adding to your watch list as he may become fantasy relevant should he continue to see similar playing time.
Fri Feb 20 201512:27Walker will join Heat on 10-day contract
Walker will join the Heat on a 10-day contract, but he will not be available for Friday's game against the Knicks, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Walker likely wouldn't have seen many minutes, even with Chris Bosh (lung) sidelined. Bosh is in danger of missing the rest of the season, and while that could open up a bit of opportunity, Walker won't necessarily get significant run when he's ready. Miami's next game is scheduled for Saturday against the Pelicans.
Fri Feb 20 201509:17Walker
Walker, formerly known as Bill Walker, will be recalled by the Heat, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
The 27-year-old has previously spent time in the NBA before, although a first name change doesn't hide the fact that he's always played an ancillary role wherever he's played. That being said, the Heat dumped multiple small forwards before the trade deadline which leaves a window of opportunity for Walker to get some playing time behind Luol Deng, although he'll likely share minutes off the bench with rookie James Ennis.
Wed Feb 20 201316:56Bill Walker signs with Austin of D-League
Bill Walker has signed a contract with the Austin Toros of the D-League.
The Toros are an affiliate of the San Antonio Spurs, but Walker's deal is purely of the D-League variety. He was reportedly set to sign with the Grizzlies in January but that never came to fruition.

Tue Jan 22 201310:08Grizzlies reportedly set to add Bill Walker
The Grizzlies will reportedly sign Bill Walker.
Walker worked out for the Cavs in the offseason, but he never got a bite after being thrown around as a potential minimum salary guy. He'll join the Grizzlies bench on a free agent deal.

Mon Jul 23 201209:03Report: Bill Walker could sign with Cavs
Unrestricted FA Bill Walker worked out for the Cavs.
According to the News-Herald, Walker "might make some sense" for the team as the Cavs look to add some depth on the wing. Walker, who was waived by the Knicks in April, shouldn't cost more than the veteran's minimum if Cleveland were to seriously pursue him.

Fri Apr 20 201218:15Knicks waive Bill Walker on Friday
Knicks waived G/F Bill Walker on Friday.
Walker was a casualty of the Knicks signing of Dan Gadzuric earlier in the day. Walker averaged 5.9 points, 2.5 rebounds and 19.4 minutes over 32 games (eight starts) this season for New York. He will look to latch on with another team needing a wing player.

Thu Apr 5 201209:30Bill Walker looking to come back on Sunday
Bill Walker (elbow) is shooting to return on Sunday against the Bulls.
Walker will likely be buried in the rotation upon his return and isn't worth fantasy consideration in standard-sized leagues.

Wed Mar 28 201214:41Bilil Walker (elbow) may be back in 1-2 weeks
Bill Walker (elbow surgery) could be back in 1-2 weeks, according to Mike Woodson.
This far from a concrete timetable, and it's hard to envision Walker consistently getting significant run given the Knicks' crowd at shooting guard and small forward. Walker hasn't appeared in a game since Feb. 17.

Sun Mar 4 201211:00Bill Walker out 4-6 weeks w/ elbow surgery
Bill Walker will miss 4-6 weeks after surgery on Monday to clean out his left elbow.
It's an unfortunate blow for Walker and the Knicks, but if the team stays healthy his absence shouldn't be very noticeable in fantasy leagues. It sounds like he'll be ready for a possible playoff run.

Mon Feb 27 201214:56Bill Walker won't practice Tuesday
Bill Walker (elbow) will not practice Tuesday.
Walker's diagnosis is mere "soreness." He is going to be a healthy scratch a lot of nights anyway now that the Knicks are at full strength.

Thu Feb 23 201222:38Walker (elbow) inactive on Thursday vs. MIA
Bill Walker (elbow) was inactive for Thursday's game against the Heat.
Walker wasn't mentioned in the pregame injury reports, so we're marking him active on our side. He has lost any and all fantasy value he previously had, with the Knicks nearing full strength.
