Amundson was traded to the Knicks on Monday as part of a three-team deal that also involved the Thunder.

Amundson has only appeared in 12 games for Cleveland this season and there's little reason to believe that he'll see extended playing time in New York. He will be slotted behind the likes of Jason Smith, Andrea Bargnani, Quincy Acy and Amar'e Stoudemire, which hardly leaves Amundson in a favorable situation.

Amundson appeared in a game for the first time in Dec. 8 and played three minutes with two points (2-2 FT) in the loss to the Hawks on Saturday.

Amundson only appears in blow outs and, unfortunately for the Cavaliers, they were on the wrong end of Wednesday's game. He is a practice body, but not much more.
