Mon Mar 25 201309:31Sebastian Telfair dealing with knee injury
Sebastian Telfair is reportedly dealing with a minor knee injury.
Telfair hasn't played in either of the last two games, but it's not clear if it's due to the injury or a coach's decision. Either way, Telfair isn't a fantasy asset, and if he is forced to miss time, John Lucas III would soak up all of the backup point guard minutes.

Thu Mar 7 201301:02Sebastian Telfair shines vs. former team
Sebastian Telfair got his first substantial playing time for the Raptors and burned his former team for 13 points, seven assists, four steals and three 3-pointers on 5-of-12 shooting in 27 minutes on Wednesday.
Kyle Lowry didn't even score in the first half and Telfair had a score to settle with the Suns, who traded him to Toronto, forcing him to leave his family behind in Arizona. While tonight's line was interesting, this was a bizarre game and we doubt Telfair buzzkills Lowry on many nights going forward. Leave him on waivers for now.

Thu Feb 21 201314:08Report: Suns trade Telfair to Raptors
The Raptors have reportedly acquired Sebastian Telfair from the Suns, in exchange for Hamed Haddadi.
Telfair shores up the Raptors' bench, where he and John Lucas III will share backup PG duties. He was averaging 6.0 points on 38.1 percent shooting with Phoenix this year, and he remains a dubious source of fantasy value.

Thu Feb 21 201309:29Report: Raptors frontrunners for Telfair deal
The Raptors have "emerged as the frontrunner" to trade for Sebastian Telfair, sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Telfair has a nonexitent role with the Suns and has only played in two games during February. If dealt to Toronto, he'd serve as depth behind Kyle Lowry and John Lucas III.

Wed Feb 20 201308:14Report: Sebastian Telfair intrigues Raptors
The Raptors have interest in trading for Sebastian Telfair, sources told ESPN's Chris Broussard.
Telfair has a nonexistent role on the Suns and could be had for very cheap, so given Toronto's need for a backup PG, a deal between the two sides could make some sense.

Sun Feb 10 201309:54Suns reportedly trying to move Telfair
The Suns have reportedly tried to trade Sebastian Telfair for a second-round draft pick.
We can include the word 'unsuccesfully,' since Telfair is still with the Suns. He has five DNP-CDs in the past seven games and even rookie Kendall Marshall has leap-frogged him in the rotation.

Sat Jan 12 201323:13Telfair shines as Suns snap road losing skid
Sebastian Telfair had 13 points, two 3-pointers, six rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block in Chicago on Saturday, his second-highest scoring game as a reserve.
The backup PG was a big reason why the Suns finally broke their 12-game road losing streak, and his stellar play limited Goran Dragic to just 22 minutes of action. It's unlikely to become a trend, however, and he should be viewed skeptically in fantasy leagues.

Sat Jan 5 201305:03Telfair (knee) returns to action on Friday
Sebastian Telfair (knee) returned to action on Friday, scoring 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting (including two threes) with two assists and a block in 13 minutes.
Telfair needs an injury to Goran Dragic to have any real fantasy value, but he'd hold the job outright in that case as rookie Kendall Marshall can't hold his own on the floor.

Fri Jan 4 201316:01Sebastian Telfair will play Friday
Sebastian Telfair (knee) went through shootaround and is expected to play in Friday's game against the Jazz.
Telfair left Wednesday's win over the Sixers early due to right knee soreness, but it's not a real concern. He's expected to play his normal rotational role of 16-19 minutes as Goran Dragic's backup.

Wed Jan 2 201322:47Sebastian Telfair (knee) out for game vs. PHI
Sebastian Telfair is dealing with a sore left knee and will not return to Wednesday's game.
He hasn't really dealt with knee issues in his career and the severity of the injury is not known. If Telfair misses time, Kendall Marshall will likely have to back up Goran Dragic, but his ugly shooting numbers make him a liability in even the deepest of leagues.

Mon Dec 31 201220:11Telfair (illness) misses shootaround Monday
Sebastian Telfair (illness) is expected to play against the Thunder after missing Monday's shootaround.
Telfair had a big 19-point game with Goran Dragic out of the lineup on Friday, but he doesn't have value as long as Dragic is healthy.

Sat Dec 29 201222:49Telfair goes from 19 points to zero points
One game after scoring a season-high 19 points, Sebastian Telfair was scoreless in 12 minutes off the Suns' bench.
Goran Dragic returned, and Telfair's fantasy utility vanished as a result. He is filling a reliable role for the Suns' second unit, but he isn't a fantasy asset outside of deep leagues.

Fri Dec 28 201223:15Telfair scores a season-high 19 points
Sebastian Telfair started in place of the injured Goran Dragic and scored a season-high 19 points with six assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 41 minutes against the Pacers on Friday.
Alvin Gentry is going to hand Telfair as many minutes he can handle. The Suns play in Minnesota on Saturday, so Telfair might be worth another spot-start with Dragic possibly out again.

Thu Dec 27 201200:47Telfair puts up 11 points in 30 minutes
Sebastin Telfair picked up some extra playing time with Goran Dragic missing the second half and had 11 points, four assists, three steals and three 3-pointers in 30 minutes on Wednesday.
It's pretty nice line for him and he's been in the rotation even when Dragic was healthy. Telfair is someone to think about for Dragic owners in deeper leagues as an insurance policy. The Suns play on Friday and Saturday. Dragic only has contusions, though, so we wouldn't bend over backwards to grab Telfair.

Sun Dec 9 201223:27Telfair struggles in fill-in start at PG
Starting in place of ailing Goran Dragic (flu), Sebastian Telfair scored six points, grabbed four rebounds and distributed eight assists in 37 minutes.
Dragic was expected to play before being ruled out at the last moment, so it's doubtful many owners took advantage of Telfair's fill-in start at PG (he shot 1-of-7, so it may not be a bad thing). We expect him to be back on the Suns' bench for Wednesday's game vs. Memphis.

Sebastian Telfair (personal) is expected to play on Thursday.
Goran Dragic played a season-high 44 minutes with Telfair out on Tuesday. Now that Telfair is back, look for Dragic's minutes to once again land in the 30-35 range.
