Sat Jul 12 201420:46Ricky Ledo gets hot from deep vs. MIN
Ricky Ledo hit five 3-pointers vs. the Wolves on Saturday, scoring a total of 21 points with three boards, three assists, three turnovers and five fouls.
When it comes to Ledo, you have to take the good with the bad. He got hot from deep today and was given a lot of space. Ledo had a really bad opener on Friday due to poor shot selection, which is his biggest issue. If he can string some games together, maybe the Mavericks put him on the roster.

Fri Jul 11 201418:48Ricky Ledo still looking a bit sloppy
Ricky Ledo turned the ball over five times vs. the Knicks on Friday, shooting just 4-of-14 from the field for 14 points with five boards, two assists, two steals and one 3-pointer.
He shot just 5-of-9 from the line and really didn't keep his cool out there. Ledo has a reputation as a bull in a china shop, and he still really needs to not force plays. The talent is there, but he's a long way from being a solid player.

Fri Jan 31 201416:51Ricky Ledo recalled for Friday's game
Ricky Ledo has been recalled for Friday's game against the Kings.
The Mavericks have an extra roster spot for tonight with Shawn Marion (shoulder) out, but Ledo will just be an emergency guy. He is really fun to watch and likes to dominate the ball when he's out there, but shooting just 39.8 percent in the D-League this season indicates he's not ready for a regular role any time soon.

The Mavericks will send Ricky Ledo to the D-League at some point.
He needs the playing time and is a bit of a raw talent. Ledo has a lot of flash to his game, so playing with the Texas Legends can help him develop into a more well-rounded guy. If he can develop a shot, the rookie could eventually crack the Mavs rotation.

Thu Jul 25 201312:51Ricky Ledo gets a four-year deal with Dallas
Ricky Ledo's contract is a four-year deal with the last three years at the minimum and the first two years guaranteed.
He put up some red flags after sitting out last year at Providence for academic reasons and also went to four different high schools. However, he was one of the most creative players with the ball in Vegas and he can break down defenders off the dribble. For example, in summer league he did a spin right, a spin left and put up a shot along the baseline in about two seconds, the shot was blocked from the weak side, but that's not the point. If and when he gets minutes, he'll be a fun player to watch.
