Tue Feb 21 201212:20Anthony Parker questionable for Tues, Wed.
Anthony Parker (back) is questionable for both Tuesday and Wednesday.
Parker hasn't played in a game since January 29 due to ongoing back woes, and the Cavs will not rush him back before he's 100 percent ready. With Daniel Gibson (ankle) expected back and Alonzo Gee playing well, Cleveland will ensure that the veteran gets all the rest he needs before returning to the lineup. Parker is averaging just 6.0 points on 36.8 percent shooting over 23 minutes this season.

Anthony Parker (back) practiced Monday, but still may be held out through the All-Star break.
Parker has missed 10 straight games, so the 36-year-old veteran is going to need some time to get back in the swing of things. With Daniel Gibson (ankle) also highly questionable, Alonzo Gee appears headed another start at shooting guard against the Pistons Tuesday.

Wed Feb 15 201212:22Anthony Parker 'could' return next week
Anthony Parker (back) is progressing and "could" return next week.
Byron Scott said that he was hopeful Parker could return to non-contact practice on Friday, but that is far from a guarantee. Parker has been out for better than two weeks and has battled back issues all season long. Daniel Gibson will continue to start in his place and be an excellent short-term play for owners who need a boost in the 3-point department.

Fri Feb 10 201211:38Anthony Parker 'likely' to sit out Saturday
Anthony Parker (back) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Bucks and will "likely" miss Saturday's game as well.
Parker will miss his sixth straight tonight, and Saturday would mark the seventh straight he's sat out. He's dealt with back problems early and often this season, and clearly nothing has improved in that regard. Daniel Gibson should continue to fill in as a starer, and he's averaged 11.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 2.0 treys in two starts this season.

Tue Feb 7 201211:22Parker, Gibson, Thompson all out on Tuesday
Anthony Parker (back), Daniel Gibson (neck) and Tristan Thompson (ankle) will not play on Tuesday against Miami.
No surprises here as all three players were not expected to play. The team also waived Mychal Thompson on Monday, so owners looking for a plug-and-play should take a careful look at Alonzo Gee. Gee has scored in double-digits in four straight and has consistently clocked about 30 minutes in each contest.

Anthony Parker left Sunday's game with back spasms and will not return.
Parker's back was ailing coming into the game, and without Daniel Gibson he was forced to play the whole first quarter. Until we hear otherwise, we'll consider the veteran SG questionable for Tuesday's game vs. the visiting Celtics.

Sat Jan 21 201221:42Varejao, Parker both struggle in loss to ATL
Anderson Varejao and Anthony Parker scored a combined six points on 2-of-12 shooting in Saturday's lopsided loss to the Hawks.
Antawn Jamison scored 10 points and Omri Casspi chipped in 11 points, but nobody played more than 27 minutes for the Cavs. Fantasy owners should dismiss most of the aberrant stat lines this game produced.
