Tue Apr 17 201205:01Przybilla dealing with knee and ankle
Joel Przybilla was knocked out of Monday's game with a banged right knee and his existing left ankle injury.
Przybilla lasted just 10 minutes and says that he will play on Wednesday against the Jazz, but we're not going to take his word for it. If he missed any time, it will be absorbed by J.J. Hickson and Hasheem Thabeet.

Thu Apr 12 201202:09Przybilla hauls in season-high 14 boards
Joel Przybilla had two points, a season-high 14 rebounds and zero blocks in another start for Portland on Wednesday.
With LaMarcus Aldridge possibly done for the season, Przybilla should do a lot of rebounding, but his lack of offense is a huge concern. He's only worth a look in very deep leagues, and the 14 boards were his highest total since 2009.

Sat Apr 7 201202:35Przybilla (knee) scores two points on Friday
Joel Przybilla (knee) returned to action on Friday, scoring two points on 1-of-1 shooting with five rebounds in 13 minutes.
This is a pretty good representation of what to expect from Przybilla going forward, assuming he can stay healthy. He's also dealing with bone spurs in his left ankle and he's hoping he can make it until the offseason for surgery.

Fri Apr 6 201219:32Przybilla (knee) to start on Friday vs. Mavs
Joel Przybilla (knee) will start on Friday against the Mavericks.
This won't change the pecking order in Portland too much, but if Przybilla ever succumbs to the knee injury then J.J. Hickson will be locked into heavy minutes the rest of the way.

Thu Apr 5 201217:10Joel Przybilla day-to-day with ankle sprain
Joel Przybilla is day-to-day with a left ankle sprain.
Przybilla is traveling with the team to Dallas, but he's questionable to face the Mavs. If he can't go, it's a nice boost for J.J. Hickson. When Przybilla sat out Sunday due to knee issues, Hickson posted 15 points and nine rebounds in 35 minutes as a starter.

Tue Apr 3 201202:09Przybilla (knee) plays 22 minutes vs. UTA
Joel Przybilla (knee) played 22 minutes on Monday, grabbing three rebounds with one assist and one block.
Przybilla isn't a beacon of health after multiple serious knee surgeries, and we're not counting on him to be healthy on any given day. For all of our precaution, however, he appeared to move around well before the game and should be good to go going forward.

Mon Apr 2 201220:43Przybilla (knee) doesn't look limited
Joel Przybilla does not appear to be favoring his sprained right knee in Monday's pregame warmups.
Whether or not this particular issue is acute, Przybilla's history of knee injuries means that he'll be dealing with this stuff more often than not. J.J. Hickson's value has more or less already been established because of the Blazers' thin frontcourt, but yes, if Przybilla were to go down it would be yet another good sign for Hickson.

Mon Apr 2 201211:39Joel Przybilla questionable for Monday
Joel Przybilla (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Monday's game against the Jazz.
Przybilla has a long history of knee issues and the Blazers are on a back-to-back. Therefore, it certainly wouldn't be a surprise to see J.J. Hickson draw his third straight start. In six appearances as a Blazers, Hickson is averaging an impressive 15.8 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.0 steals while playing 27.6 minutes per night.

Sun Apr 1 201220:03Przybilla doubtful vs. Wolves on Sunday
Joel Przybilla is doubtful to play on Sunday due to soreness in his right knee.
Przybilla has overcome multiple knee surgeries and will obviously be cautious, so even if Przybilla plays we expect to see plenty of Kurt Thomas and J.J. Hickson against the Wolves on Sunday.

Sat Mar 17 201200:45Joel Przybilla quiet in start for Blazers
Joel Przybilla started at center for the Blazers on Friday but had just two points, four rebounds and zero blocks in an unlikely win over the Bulls.
JP may start at center until further notice, but he's just lacking too much offensively to be used in fantasy leagues.

Fri Mar 16 201213:07Joel Przybilla to start at center on Friday
Joel Przybilla will start at center on Friday against the Bulls.
Portland will start Raymond Felton, Wesley Matthews, Nicolas Batum and LaMarcus Aldridge to round out the rest of the lineup. Przybilla will grab rebounds and block a few shots, but there is little upside to his fantasy appeal for owners outside of that.

Fri Mar 2 201201:38Przybilla makes season debut with Blazers
Joel Przybilla made his season-debut for the Blazers, scoring four points on 1-of-2 shooting with six rebounds and two blocks in 19 minutes.
Przybilla might be in the ice-tub all night after this, and it's highly doubtful he accumulates any real fantasy value.

Wed Feb 29 201214:20Joel Przybilla won't be active on Wednesday
Joel Przybilla will not be active for the Blazers on Wednesday.
Przybilla hasn't played in a game all season and will need a few days to get up to game speed. Blazers writer Joe Freeman expects him to be activated for Saturday's game, but even then he won't have fantasy value while Marcus Camby and Kurt Thomas are healthy.

Przybilla stressed how comfortable he and his family felt in Portland, which undoubtedly played a major factor in his decision.

Wed Feb 22 201216:15Source: Przybilla signing with Blazers
Free agent center Joel Przybilla is reportedly planning to sign with the Blazers.
Multiple teams were in the mix, but it's no big surprise that Przybilla chose Portland given that he has spent the majority of his career there. The 32-year-old will provide depth on the front line, but isn't a candidate to play significant minutes. Przybilla averaged just 1.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 14 minutes per game for Portland last year.

Przybilla is weighing offers between Miami, Chicago, Milwaukee or Portland, and his agent, Bill Duffy, was sitting courtside with Portland team president Larry miller on Tuesday evening. Wed Feb 1 201215:15Bulls remain in mix for C Joel Przybilla
Joel Przybilla's agent, Bill Duffy, confirmed that the center is weighing offers to sign with either the Bulls or Heat, possibly as early as this week.
On paper, it would seem like the Heat need Przybilla more than the Bulls, who already have Joakim Noah, Omer Asik and Taj Gibson manning a very deep front line. We will have to wait and see on where Przybilla ends up, but it looks like the finalists are the two top teams in the East.
