Thu Apr 5 201200:02Charles Jenkins bounces back with big game
Charles Jenkins, who had just seven points and two assists on Tuesday, bounced back for 19 points, four rebounds and seven assists on 8-of-13 shooting in 33 minutes on Wednesday.
Nate Robinson played just 15 minutes for two points and four assists tonight, as the hot Jenkins got the run for the Warriors. Jenkins is playing on a bum knee, but looked great tonight, and it appears that he'll continue to start over Robinson as long as he's healthy. Look for Jenkins and Robinson to trade off big nights from here on out, if Robinson gets more run than he did in this one.

Tue Apr 3 201220:09Charles Jenkins to start for Warriors
Charles Jenkins (knee) will start for the Warriors on Tuesday night.
Information was slow coming in, but the latest is that he will start against the Grizzlies after suffering a knee injury in his last game. This means Nate Robinson will come off the bench.

Mon Apr 2 201200:07Charles Jenkins bruises knee in Sunday's loss
Charles Jenkins bruised his knee during Sunday's game -- he was available to return but didn't, and finished with 10 points, six assists and two steals in 22 minutes.
Mark Jackson approves of the job Jenkins is doing, and the Warriors have far more incentive to develop their talented rookie than to appease soon-to-be FA Nate Robinson, but it's all for naught if he can't stay healthy. He already had a minor ankle injury and we'll keep a close watch on his status for Tuesday's road game.

Sat Mar 31 201205:12Jenkins goes for 18 & 12; may be starting PG
Charles Jenkins (ankle) started at point guard in the Warriors' 102-100 loss to the Nets on Friday, scoring 18 points on 6-of-12 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds, 12 assists, and two steals in 37 minutes.
First, the concerns -- he appeared to hurt his ankle and based on Mark Jackson's play-through-pain credo he stayed in the game, so we don't know how hurt he is. Second, we don't know how hurt Nate Robinson is, because nobody in Golden State is talking about Lil' Him, at all. From there, obviously there is a ton of upside for Jenkins if the Warriors decide he's the best PG to develop and/or tank with. He should be owned in most, if not all formats because of his upside and sweet playoff schedule. Just realize there is some risk.

Fri Mar 30 201222:08Jenkins (ankle) to start; Robinson healthy?
Charles Jenkins (ankle) will play and start in Friday's game against the Nets, putting Nate Robinson's health into question, as well.
Robinson struggled on Wednesday, missing all six of his shot in 23 minutes, so we'll be watching for updates on his status. As for Jenkins, he could become a solid fantasy option if Robinson is more hurt than previously thought.

Thu Mar 29 201203:09Charles Jenkins leaves with sprained ankle
Charles Jenkins left Wednesday's game after 15 minutes when he sprained his right ankle after stepping on the foot of a fan seated courtside.
The guy didn't even try to get out of the way, and Jenkins, who had four points and one assist off the bench, paid the price. With Nate Robinson back in action from a hamstring injury, Jenkins can be dropped in most leagues.

Wed Mar 28 201202:39Charles Jenkins quiet in loss to Lakers
Charles Jenkins started in place of Nate Robinson (hamstring) again on Tuesday and hit 4-of-9 shots for 12 points and three assists.
He blew up for 27 points and six assists on Saturday, but couldn't get it going tonight. Robinson was in uniform, but didn't play again due to his injury, but could be back in their next one. And Jenkins will take a big hit when Robinson is back in action.

Sun Mar 25 201223:55Charles Jenkins blows up for 27 points
Warriors rookie Charles Jenkins blew away expectations in his 10th career start at PG, scoring 27 points on 13-of-22 shooting (one 3-pointer) with two rebounds, six assists and four turnovers.
Jenkins was two points away from his career-high after one quarter, and (despite missing a desperation 3-pointer at the end of regulation) he never cooled off in 40 minutes. Starting PG Nate Robinson (hamstring) is day-to-day, which means Jenkins may not repeat this performance, but we'll watch the situation in case a position battle develops.

Sun Mar 25 201201:16Charles Jenkins steps up w/ Nate hurting
Charles Jenkins stepped in as the Warriors' PG once Nate Robinson (hamstring) left Saturday's game, finishing with eight points, three assists and three turnovers in 24 minutes.
Jenkins has started nine games as a rookie, but he averaged just 3.7 points, 2.2 assists and 0.7 steals in 15 minutes. There's a good chance Nate won't be ready to play on Sunday, which could force Golden State to start two rookies in their backcourt (Jenkins and Klay Thompson).

Wed Mar 14 201203:17Jenkins scores 15 points off the bench
Charles Jenkins scored 15 points off the bench on Tuesday, hitting 7-of-10 shots (including a three) with zero rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 19 minutes.
Nate Robinson started with Stephen Curry (ankle) out, but if the Warriors shut down Curry then it's theoretically possible that they turn to Jenkins to run the point. We're not running out to add Jenkins in most formats, but we'll be watching closely if the Warriors do shut Curry down.

Tue Feb 28 201217:58Charles Jenkins starting in place of Curry
Charles Jenkins will start Tuesday's game against the Pacers in place of Steph Curry (foot).
Jenkins is really just a nominal starter as Nate Robinson is Curry's real backup. In eight starts earlier this season, Jenkins averaged 3.9 points and 2.3 assists in a meager 14.7 minutes.

Sun Jan 15 201220:41Charles Jenkins posts career-highs vs. DET
Warriors rookie Charles Jenkins finished Sunday's game with six points, and had career-highs in rebounds (four), assists (five) and minutes (29).
As encouraging as this game was, Jenkins will find himself back in a small bench role when Stephen Curry returns, possibly on Tuesday vs. the Cavaliers.

Fri Jan 13 201202:59Jenkins a starter in name only for M-Jax
Charles Jenkins started for injured Stephen Curry (ankle) on Thursday against the Magic, scoring eight points on 4-of-7 shooting with one rebound and three assists in 13 minutes.
Those numbers aren't bad, but Jenkins is a starter in name only right now. He'll have to earn more minutes before he's worth a look, obviously.

Thu Jan 12 201222:08Jenkins to start on Thursday vs. Magic
Charles Jenkins will start for Stephen Curry (ankle), and Brandon Rush will start for Dorell Wright (knee bruise) on Thursday against the Magic.
Jenkins theoretically could play well and stay on the court with Wright now out, too, but he's not an advised spot-start. Nate Robinson was a nice add a day or so ago and gets a bump with this news, while Brandon Rush is worth a spot-start, too. Rush should be watched closely in case the Wright injury is more serious than the Warriors are letting on.

Sat Jan 7 201203:18Jenkins plays 10 minutes in start at PG
Charles Jenkins started for injured Stephen Curry (ankle) on Friday against the Lakers, scoring two points on 1-of-2 shooting with one rebound in 10 minutes.
Jenkins may be a fine player one day, but we have no clue what Mark Jackson is thinking starting him for the first time in the Staples Center. If he continues to start he'll be worth monitoring, but he shouldn't be added in light of tonight's performance.

Fri Jan 6 201214:38Rookie Jenkins will start at PG for Warriors
Rookie Charles Jenkins will start at PG for the Warriors on Friday night vs. the Lakers.
This is a bit of a surprise, as Ish Smith was thought to be the one who took over at point with Stephen Curry out. Smith seems to be falling out of favor and newly acquired Nate Robinson hasn't had enough practice time yet to be considered for the job. Jenkins has a very interesting size/speed combo and could provide some sneaky value if Curry is out for an extended period. Keep a close eye on how he does in his first game on Friday night.
