Wed Jan 23 201314:40Sasha Pavlovic likely out again Wednesday
Sasha Pavlovic (plantar fasciitis) likely won't play again Wednesday night.
Pavlovic apparently also pulled a muscle in his left foot recently, which is the same foot that has plantar fasciitis. He's a non-factor in fantasy, though, so this is more of an FYI than anything else.

Wed Jan 2 201318:41Sasha Pavlovic active Wednesday vs. Raptors
Sasha Pavlovic (ankle) was active for Wednesday's game against the Raptors.
Pavlovic has received two straight DNP-CDs after hurting the ankle Friday. He's only valuable in the deepest of leagues if there's an injury ahead of him.

Sasha Pavlovic scored five points on 2-of-5 shooting (including a three) with one assist in 18 minutes off the bench on Friday.
Pavlovic was seen icing his ankle after the game and said he would be able to play on Saturday, but we're going to put him on the injury report just in case. He could be worth some spot-action if the Blazers remain banged up, but only in the deepest of formats.

Wed Dec 19 201216:25Sasha Pavlovic back at practice Wednesday
Sasha Pavlovic (gluteal strain) returned to practice Wednesday, but coach Terry Stotts said he was not 100 percent.
Pavlovic is officially listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Nuggets. Given his reserve role, Pavlovic's impact in most leagues is minimal, although he could steal some extra time should Wesley Matthews (hip) sit against Denver.

Tue Dec 11 201208:25Sasha Pavlovic not bugged by lack of minutes
Sasha Pavlovic, who made a rare start on Monday, said that he's not bothered by his lack of minutes.
Pavlovic has played inconsistent minutes this season, but he knows his role on the team. "I don't get frustrated. I'm past that,'' Pavlovic said. His teammates praised what Pavlovic's knowledge of the game, specifically in film study, but that won't help him accrue any sustainable fantasy value.

Tue Dec 11 201201:21Pavlovic scores 10 points in solid line
Sasha Pavlovic started for injured Wesley Matthews (hip) in Monday's win over the Raptors, scoring 10 points on 5-of-12 shooting (0-for-5 from deep) with seven rebounds, five assists, and one steal in 42 minutes.
If you took Pavlovic in the quartet of players vying to take advantage of Matthews and Nicolas Batum's absence, give yourself a pat on the back. Victor Claver started for Batum and had four points on 2-of-12 shooting with five rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 26 minutes, Luke Babbitt hit just 2-of-9 shots for four points with three boards and one steal, and rookie Will Barton played just 12 minutes without logging a single stat other than a missed shot. Good luck rolling the dice if starters remain out on Thursday against the Spurs.

Mon Dec 10 201222:04Pavlovic, Claver to start for the Blazers
Sasha Pavlovic (quad) and Victor Claver will start for injured Nicolas Batum (back) and Wesley Matthews (hip) on Monday against the Raptors.
Pavlovic and Claver don't profile nearly as well as Will Barton and Luke Babbitt, but it's possible that Terry Stotts didn't want to disrupt his bench rotation and that he'll ride Barton and Babbitt tonight. All four players will be risky spot-plays, but somebody will have to produce with Batum and Matthews out.

Mon Nov 5 201214:13Pavlovic will return from quad injury vs. DAL
Sasha Pavlovic (quad) will return to action vs. the Mavericks on Monday.
His return will bump another player onto the inactive list, but Terry Stotts hasn't yet decided who that will be. Pavlovic is surprisingly averaging 20 minutes through two games, but he still doesn't have fantasy value outside of the deepest leagues.

Sat Nov 3 201219:20Pavlovic sidelined by bruised left quad
Sasha Pavlovic will not play on Saturday due to a bruised left quad.
Pavlovic hurt himself in Friday's game and should be considered day-to-day, though his availability won't register outside of the deepest leagues. Ronnie Price, returning from a sprained ankle, took Pavlovic's spot on the active roster.

Fri Nov 2 201220:59Sasha Pavlovic (leg) leaves game on Friday
Sasha Pavlovic limped off the court in the first half of Friday's game.
He is a key piece for Portland's second unit and played 18 minutes on Wednesday. However, Portland runs a very thin rotation and he won't be worth using in fantasy while the Blazers are healthy.

Fri Jul 20 201217:35Pavlovic officially traded to Blazers
The Blazers officially acquired guard Sasha Pavlovic, two 2013 second round draft picks and cash considerations from the Celtics as part of the deal that landed Courtney Lee in Boston.
Pavlovic averaged 2.7 points, 1.6 rebounds and 11.7 minutes in 45 games (seven starts) for the Celtics last season. Blazers GM Neil Olshey sang his praises, "We're looking forward to adding Sasha Pavlovic's veteran leadership to our squad. He's a very experienced wing player that we feel can add depth to our rotation." He is far off the fantasy radar for this season.

Fri Jul 20 201208:11Sasha Pavlovic traded to Trail Blazers
Sasha Pavlovic has been traded to the Trail Blazers as part of the sign-and-trade deal that will send Courtney Lee to the Celtics.
The Celtics will still send JaJuan Johnson, E'Twaun Moore, Sean Williams and a future second round pick to the Rockets, but Portland has agreed to take on Pavlovic and serve as a facilitator in the three-team trade. The deal to nab Lee remains an absolute steal for the Celtics.
