Sat Mar 22 201409:58Kenyon Martin (ankle) still out indefinitely
Kenyon Martin (ankle) has not yet resumed on-court workouts and there is no timetable for his return.
The Knicks are solely focused on making the playoffs and they've won eight straight games without K-Mart or Andrea Bargnani, neither of whom is a likely fantasy option for the rest of the season.

Kenyon Martin (ankle) will not play against the Jazz on Friday.
He is out of his walking boot but coach Mike Woodson doesn't know when Martin will go through on-court work. The Knicks are going to manage his minutes upon his return and he's completely hands off for fantasy purposes. The Knicks will start Ray Felton, J.R. Smith, Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler tonight vs. a vulnerable Jazz defense.

Kenyon Martin said on Monday he has been getting plasma-rich platelet treatment on his ankle.
He is getting better and will be re-evaluated on Thursday. Martin just can't stay healthy this season and the Knicks probably won't give him many minutes even when he's close to 100 percent. Additionally, he said it's been torture watching the Knicks play defense.

Kenyon Martin (ankle) is still wearing a walking boot and he has no projected return date.
Martin clamored for more playing time earlier in the season but it was only a matter of time before his chronically-damaged ankles betrayed him. He belongs on the waiver wire in all leagues.

Mon Feb 17 201418:59Kenyon Martin not with the team on Monday
Kenyon Martin (ankle) is not with the Knicks and will not play against the Grizzlies on Tuesday.

Wed Feb 5 201418:23Kenyon Martin is out for the rest of the week
Kenyon Martin (ankle) will be out for the rest of the week.
That would rule him out for tonight with some serious doubt on Friday and Sunday. Martin just can't stay healthy this year and the Knicks won't be allowed to play him big minutes even when he's healthy. Amare Stoudemire will be the main bench big man in a smaller lineup against the Blazers tonight.

Thu Jan 30 201418:40Kenyon Martin out Thursday w/ sore ankle
Kenyon Martin will not play on Thursday due to his injured left ankle.
K-Mart's ankles are chronically damaged and this comes as no surprise despite his vow to play "without a question." The Knicks' veteran PF remains day-to-day, a tag which could essentially be applied to him in perpetuity.

Wed Jan 29 201409:36Kenyon Martin (ankle) vows to play Thursday
Kenyon Martin rolled his left ankle during the first half of Tuesday's game, but he vowed "without a question" to play vs. the Cavs on Thursday.
"I probably could have finished the game if we weren't up so big," said Martin. His ankles are a constant source of concern and his playing time is too limited to rely on him in standard leagues, even with Andrea Bargnani (elbow) and Amare Stoudemire (ankle) on the shelf.

Tue Jan 28 201423:12Kenyon Martin plays 9 minutes in return
Kenyon Martin played nine minutes in his return from an ankle injury, hitting 3-of-3 shots for six points, one rebound and one block on Tuesday.
K-Mart probably won't see enough minutes and even went to the locker room due to his left ankle tonight. That will leave him questionable for his next game, but he's not worth starting when healthy right now after sitting out the last couple weeks with the injury.

Tue Jan 28 201420:39Kenyon Martin limps off court on Tuesday
Kenyon Martin went to the locker room in the first half of Tuesday's game for an apparent leg injury.
It's his first game back after missing five games due to a sprained ankle. Martin simply can't stay healthy this year and the Knicks are going to have to manage him minutes even if he's at his peak healthy. Jeremy Tyler stepped into his minutes initially, but has very little fantasy value.

Tue Jan 28 201417:52Kenyon Martin (ankle) will play vs. Boston
Kenyon Martin will return from his ankle injury vs. Boston on Tuesday.
He'll come off the bench behind a starting frontcourt of Tyson Chandler and Carmelo Anthony, and his defensive prowess may give him some appeal in deep formats. Given the chronic nature of his ankle problems, however, he's not a smart bet for long-term value.

Thu Jan 23 201411:34Kenyon Martin won't return until Thursday
Kenyon Martin (ankle) won't return until at least Thursday.
Martin said that he won't return before the original two week timetable, which would have him returning next Thursday at the earliest. Martin's latest ankle sprain is just one of many for the big man this season, so it would be a leap of faith to think he'll provide much fantasy value the rest of the way.

Fri Jan 17 201416:58Kenyon Martin (left ankle) out for two weeks
An MRI on Friday confirmed Kenyon Martin suffered a sprain and has tendinitis in his left ankle.
He is expected to miss the next two weeks with the injury. Martin has multiple ankle sprains on the season and the Knicks will likely err on the side of caution with their aging big man. Jeremy Tyler will get some spare minutes, but the bulk of the work in the middle will go to Tyson Chandler and Andrea Bargnani.

Thu Jan 16 201422:42Kenyon Martin out a few games with ankle inj.
Kenyon Martin will be out "at least a few games" due to an ankle injury, according to Mike Woodson.
He can't seem to shake his ankle injuries and Martin has battled injuries for most of his career. It's been more back and knee ailments, but this ankle injury seems like it will keep him sidelined for a while. He can be dropped almost everywhere while Andrea Bargnani figures to see the biggest increase in playing time.

Thu Jan 16 201420:02Kenyon Martin (ankle) out for game vs. Indy
Kenyon Martin suffered a sprained left ankle and will not return to Thursday's game.
He had some ankle issues earlier this month and there's a good chance the Knicks will keep him out of the lineup to get him right. The Knicks play on Friday night against the Clippers, making Martin somewhat close to doubtful for that game. He was coming off a 28-minute game on Tuesday, but his inability to stay healthy will likely make him more trouble than he's worth.

Sat Jan 11 201422:07Kenyon Martin solid in another start at PF
Kenyon Martin gave a strong all-around effort in Philadelphia on Saturday, racking up eight points, eight rebounds, three assists and two blocks as the Knicks' starting PF.
He logged 27 minutes and his defensive numbers give him mild appeal for anyone hunting steals and blocks. Unfortunately his chronic ankle problems make him a shaky play from game to game, and his role will be halved once Tyson Chandler returns from his illness.

Thu Jan 9 201423:08Kenyon Martin plays will in fill-in role
Kenyon Martin got the start against the Heat on Thursday, playing 24 minutes for seven points, four boards, one assist and one steal.
He had an illness heading into this game and was able to exceed his season average of 19.5 minutes per game. Tyson Chandler was also sick and did not play, so there's no reason to pick up Martin based on this game alone.
