Clippers forward Craig Smith will miss a minimum of two weeks after an MRI revealed a herniated disk in his back.
Rhino has been playing a bit role off the Clippers bench this season and shouldn't be missed in fantasy leagues, though his absence puts more strain on L.A.'s thinned-out frontcourt. Chris Kaman can't get back soon enough.

Wed Nov 10 201001:16Smith scores eight points with four boards
Craig Smith scored eight points on 3-of-5 shooting with four rebounds, no assists, and two steals in 22 minutes on Tuesday.
If DeAndre Jordan doesn't pick up the slack for injured Chris Kaman (ankle), who's out for 2-3 weeks, he's the next guy in line to benefit. He has been been fairly productive when given the playing time, but we're not rushing to get him until he proves himself.
Sat Nov 6 201002:17Craig Smith nearly perfect on Friday
Craig Smith hit 8-of-9 shots for 18 points and four rebounds in Friday's loss.
We're not sure where the season-high 21 minutes came from, but the fact he couldn't miss probably had something to do with it. He's not currently worth picking up.
Tue Nov 2 201017:24Craig Smith will appeal Flagrant-2 foul
Clippers PF Craig Smith plans to appeal the Flagrant-2 foul that got him ejected from Monday's game.
Smith took down Spurs guard George Hill from behind, leaving Hill with a bruised back and whiplash -- Smith is known as a great guy and clearly didn't want to hurt Hill, but we seriously doubt he'll win this appeal.

Tue Aug 3 201022:04Craig Smith has knee surgery, out 4-6 weeks
Clippers forward Craig Smith, who recently re-signed with the team, will miss four to six weeks after undergoing arthroscopic right knee surgery on Tuesday.
The Rhino could get some run this season if Blake Griffin suffers any problems from his own knee issues, but should not be targeted in fantasy drafts. It does sound like he'll be ready for the start of the season.

Craig Smith (back) will not play Thursday night against the Kings.
The 10-20 minutes per game he usually gets will be absorbed by Chris Kaman, Drew Gooden, and DeAndre Jordan, so give each of them a tiny bump in value heading into tonight.

Craig Smith (back) will not play against the Kings on Thursday.
Considering the Clips only have three games left in the season after tonight, Smith's season could be over. The Clippers are smartly giving raw talent DeAndre Jordan the majority of big man minutes off the bench anyway.
