Sat Dec 17 201111:24Pacers to limit Jeff Foster's playing time
Pacers coach Frank Vogel wants to limit Jeff Foster's minutes "as much as possible" during the early part of the season.
Foster is 34 years old and has a history of back injuries, so this isn't too surprising. He's not even worth a look in average fantasy leagues while Roy Hibbert is around.

Tue Dec 6 201115:46Mavs in mix for Foster
Dallas is looking at possible Plan B options, including Jeff Foster, if Tyson Chandler leaves the Mavericks via free agency.
Foster is on the Mavericks' radar due to the time he spent playing for current Dallas head coach Rick Carlisle when both were part of the Pacers organization. Mavs ownership would like to keep Chandler, but have to cover all of their bases just in case.

Mon Dec 5 201109:31Knicks making strong push to land Jeff Foster
The Knicks are making a strong push to sign veteran center Jeff Foster.
Former GM Donnie Walsh is reportedly gauging Foster's interest in leaving Indiana, and the Knicks may be willing to offer Foster the full midlevel exception on a one-year deal. The team is desperate for help inside, but offering the full MLE to Foster would be one of the more questionable moves we could imagine. He'd likely be the starting center in New York, and could be a sneaky source of rebounds if he does wind up signing with the team.

Thu Dec 1 201108:59Jeff Foster wants to end career with Pacers
Jeff Foster's preference is to remain with the Pacers.
An unrestricted free agent, Foster has drawn interest from some playoff clubs as a veteran big man capable of contributing off the bench, but he'd prefer to stay with the team he's been with throughout his career. It shouldn't take long for the two sides to work out a new deal.

Impending free agent Jeff Foster wants to return for his 13th season.
Foster, 34, has been struggling with chronic back woes for some time now. He played in just 56 games last year and 16 games the year before that. The Pacers would be wise to move on and let Tyler Hansbrough/Josh McRoberts man the power forward spot.

Foster did some damage to both Derrick Rose and Luol Deng, though the Bulls (one game away from a sweep) didn't seem too concerned. It is the playoffs, after all.

Tue Feb 15 201121:10Foster leaves game with apparent ankle injury
Jeff Foster left Tuesday's game after suffering an ankle injury in the fourth quarter, and is questionable to return.
He walked to the sideline with a limp, but we have no other indication that the injury is serious at this time. If it is, the Pacers' frontcourt as a whole would absorb the minutes with no clear beneficiary at this time.

Sat Jan 29 201123:10Foster grabs 10 boards in loss to Bulls
Jeff Foster grabbed 10 rebounds in 24 minutes on Saturday, and also chipped in with four points on 2-of-6 shooting to go with a steal, a block, and an assist.
Jim O'Brien can't get enough of Foster, but it's not likely to add up into real fantasy production. He does more to give owners fits of anger than anything else in fantasy leagues.
Thu Jan 20 201102:41Jeff Foster grabs 15 boards in loss
With Roy Hibbert out with the flu, Jeff Foster came off the bench for three points on 1-of-8 shooting and 15 rebounds in a loss to the Warriors.
We don't like Foster, who is as one-dimensional as they come. And when Hibbert's back, his board opportunities and playing time will be limited.
