The Grizzlies will sign free agents Delonte West, Bill Walker and Sasha Vujacic to free-agent contracts.

The Grizzlies just sent out three bench players in a trade with Cleveland on Tuesday morning, so this isn't a huge surprise. What is surprising is the choice of players coming in. West famously ended his tenure in Dallas on a rocky note, while Walker hasn't played in the league all season and Vujacic has been playing abroad.

The Lakers are unlikely to add a point guard to the roster until at least December 15.

Los Angeles wants to see what options could be on the open market, and even with Steve Nash (leg) on the mend, the Lakers may want to bring in someone who can play ahead of Chris Duhon and Darius Morris. Delonte West's name has been thrown around, with other guys like Eddie House and Jannero Pargo in the mix as well.

The club is "in the process of negotiating terms of West's departure" with his agent, and the source told ESPN Dallas that the suspensions "stemmed from frequent behavior missteps by West." Roddy Beaubois is locked in as Darren Collison's backup.

West won't have fantasy value unless some of his teammates get hurt, but it's nice to know that he's back in good graces with the Mavs.

All four players are unrestricted free agents. We've heard that Belinelli is on the Bulls' radar, but the other three are all new names. Chicago is known to be in the market for another wing, and these guys would represent potential bargains if the team can't land someone like Courtney Lee.

The Mavericks remain interested in re-signing Delonte West.

"We are still interested in bringing him back," said Donnie Nelson. However, Nelson said West has "other options on the table," so it's no certainty that he'll be back in Dallas. West had stated previously that he had been hoping to land a multi-year contract.

Delonte West has a better chance of being re-signed by the Mavs now that Deron Williams and Jason Terry are not going to be in Dallas next season.

West is looking for a multi-year deal after playing on one-year contracts for two seasons according to ESPN Dallas. Marc Stein added that Dallas wants him back, and it's starting to look like that's what will happen.

"They can't afford to in order to accomplish their goal of acquiring a player who is good enough to make Dirk Nowitzki a co-star, whether that happens in July or over the next year."
