Sun Feb 13 201120:58Brian Cook solid in 25 minutes for Clips
Brian Cook picked up the slack for foul-plagued DeAndre Jordan on Sunday, notching 17 points and six rebounds in 25 minutes off the Clippers' bench.
Cook drained 6-of-11 shots, including three 3-pointers, but there's no reason to get excited. He hadn't played in the past two games, and hadn't scored double-digit points since mid-December.
Wed Jan 26 201101:32Cook (ankle) returns to action on Tuesday
Brian Cook (ankle) returned to action on Tuesday, scoring nine points on 4-of-6 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds, no assists, and one block in 17 minutes off the bench.
Ironically, just as Cook returns it's possible that Blake Griffin misses a game on Wednesday if his elbow swells up overnight, and if that's the case then Cook could be worth a look if you're desperate for some spot duty. Otherwise, he's worthless in fantasy leagues.
Mon Jan 17 201109:37Brian Cook (ankle) doubtful to play Monday
Brian Cook (sprained right ankle) is doubtful to play vs. the Pacers on Monday.
He was targeting a Sunday return, but that didn't happen. Fantasy owners should lose to sleep over his status, as he'll quickly fall back into his minimal role off the bench.

Tue Dec 21 201016:14Clippers' Cook to miss at least three weeks
Brian Cook (ankle) is expected to miss at least three more weeks.
Cook has been good for some random double-digit games off the Clippers bench this year, but is not a worthy roster consideration in most fantasy leagues.

Sat Dec 18 201019:32Cook (ankle) out for at least a week
Brian Cook will miss at least a week with a sprained ankle.
He has no value in fantasy leagues, but Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan may see a few extra minutes.

Mon Dec 6 201018:32Clippers' Cook suspended for two games
Brian Cook has been suspended for two games after a flagrant foul on Joel Przybilla and subsequent scuffle against the Blazers on Sunday.
We knew Cook would get one game, but the second one apparently came from his pushing and shoving after the foul. He's not an impactful fantasy player, but Blake Griffin could end up playing a few more minutes due to this news.

Sun Dec 5 201023:10Brian Cook ejected after Flagrant-2 foul
Clippers forward Brian Cook was ejected from Sunday's game after committing a Flagrant-2 foul on Joel Przybilla.
Cook shoved Przybilla as he was attempting a dunk, and the Blazers' veteran landed hard on his back (but escaped uninjured). The league reviews all Flagrant-2 fouls, but it's doubtful that anything will come of it.
Sat Nov 27 201002:12Brian Cook goes for 20 and 10 in loss
Brian Cook came off the Clippers bench for a season high in points (20), rebounds (10) and 3-pointers (four) in a blowout loss to the Suns on Friday.
This game was over in the first quarter, but Cook was great. We doubt he does it again any time soon, but you never know with the Clippers. Just put him on your watch list. He had only scored in double digits once this season with an 11-point performance, and had scored a total of just 42 points coming in.
Mon Oct 18 201001:13Cook nets 28 in reserve duty
Brian Cook dropped 28 points on 10-of-18 shooting, including 5-of-8 from three-point range, with seven rebounds and one assist on Sunday.
Here's a great preseason line. This doesn't change anything on the Clippers' depth chart, but Cook deserves ink for the effort.
Fri Jul 9 201016:37Clippers sign Brian Cook to two-year deal
The Clippers have reportedly signed Brian Cook to a two-year, $2.5 million deal.
One day after the most significant free agent decision of the offseason, we have now seen perhaps the most insignificant (at least so far). Cook is a capable outside shooter, but he'll play a reserve role in L.A. and is not likely to establish any fantasy value.
