Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (ankle) has been listed as questionable for Friday's matchup against Memphis. He's back on the injury report with a left ankle issue after recently battling an illness. James missed Sunday's game against Minnesota due to the illness but came back with an impressive 33-point, 11-assist double-double on Tuesday versus Golden State. The questionable tag has been more like a probable designation for James all season, and the chances appear high that he will play against the Grizzlies. Memphis has done little to slow down James in 2023-24, as the NBA's all-time leading scorer has notched 23.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 2.3 steals across three head-to-head clashes.

Philadelphia 76ers point guard Kyle Lowry (knee) is considered questionable for Friday's battle with the Magic. He's in danger of missing a third consecutive game due to a left knee effusion. The veteran has logged 8.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 28.8 minutes since joining his hometown team. The trio of Cameron Payne, Buddy Hield, and De'Anthony Melton should take care of his minutes on Friday if Lowry can't return. Hield has the most fantasy upside of the three, but he's blown hot and cold in Philadelphia.

Boston Celtics guard Jrue Holiday (knee) will play against the Knicks on Thursday. A problem with his left patella initially left Holiday questionable for the game, but he's been upgraded to available. With Boston bringing all of its guns out on Thursday, Holiday will likely have to play second fiddle. However, he must be in high spirits after just securing a four-year, $135 million contract extension for himself, and this should help his performance. The 33-year-old is averaging 9.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.0 assists for the month.

Golden State Warriors guard/forward Klay Thompson (knee) won't play against Portland on Thursday. He's dealing with right knee tendonitis, and the team has downgraded Thompson from questionable to out. The five-time All-Star will get his first chance to return to the lineup on Friday against New Orleans. Brandin Podziemski will likely start in Thompson's place on Thursday. The 21-year-old rookie has notched 9.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in 28 previous starts this season.

Boston Celtics center Al Horford (toe) is available to play in Thursday's game against the New York Knicks. The first-place Celtics tend to list Horford with a sprained left big toe on back-to-back sets, so look for the veteran big man to be unavailable for Friday's tilt against the dismal Charlotte Hornets. With Kristaps Porzingis' (hamstring) status remaining uncertain for Thursday's contest, Horford could be in for start at center in Boston's first unit and a considerable bump in DFS rostership if KP is inactive. In 19 games without Porzingis this season, Horford is logging 11.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.4 three-pointers, and 1.8 combined steals plus blocks per contest. With that said, the Knicks are giving up the second-fewest DraftKings points to opposing centers this year.

Golden State Warriors guard/forward Klay Thompson (knee) is on the injury report as questionable ahead of Thursday's encounter with the Trail Blazers. The veteran has played in 29 of the last 30 games but could come out of the lineup for the first leg of a back-to-back due to right knee tendonitis. If that's the case, Chris Paul and Brandin Podziemski will be counted on to make a bigger contribution on Thursday. The rest of the Warriors bench might get extended playing time as well, as the matchup is projected to be a very one-sided affair. Vegas has Golden State as a 14-point favorite on the road.

Los Angeles Clippers guard Russell Westbrook (hand) won't play on Wednesday in the rematch with Phoenix. The 35-year-old had a triple-double when these clubs met on Tuesday night. However, Westbrook will join Paul George (knee), James Harden (foot), and Kawhi Leonard (knee) on the shelf for this one. As a result, Ivica Zubac, Amir Coffey, Terance Mann, Bones Hyland, and Norman Powell could easily surpass their usual DFS expectations.

Boston Celtics forward/center Al Horford (toe) is questionable for Thursday's meeting with the Knicks. This injury has bothered him for at least a few weeks, and with the C's coasting to the postseason, he could get another night off to rest. With Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring) and Xavier Tillman Sr. (knee) also on the injury report, Luke Kornet may get more work than he can handle at the five. Of course, more minutes are never a bad thing concerning Kornet's DFS potential.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, guard Jrue Holiday (knee) and the Celtics agreed to a four-year, $135 million extension. The 33-year-old was traded to the Celtics before the 2023-24 campaign after spending his last three seasons with the Bucks. Although his scoring numbers have dropped significantly since last season, he remains one of the most capable defenders in the National Basketball Association. While retaining Holiday will help keep Boston competitive moving ahead, it also opens up some much-needed cap space. Unfortunately, Holiday is no longer a consistent fantasy asset, and his durability over the years has also been an issue. Still, his upside is still higher than most, and it should stay that way for at least a few more seasons.

Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (knee) will sit out a sixth consecutive game on Wednesday versus Phoenix. Leonard has yet to see any action this month after previously missing only six games this season. P.J. Tucker and Norman Powell have picked up starts in his place. The former started three straight games before completely dropping out of the rotation on Tuesday against the Suns. Powell entered the first unit to register 10 points and five rebounds across 33 minutes. It was a fairly quiet evening for him, and Powell should be capable of much more if he maintains the role for Wednesday's rematch.

Los Angeles Clippers guard/forward Paul George (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's rematch with the Suns. He had 23 points across 39 minutes on Tuesday against Phoenix but sits out the second leg of a back-to-back with a sore left knee. George's absence opens the door for Amir Coffey to enter the starting unit. Coffey has averaged 11.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 27.5 minutes across 11 previous starts this season. He played well at both ends on Tuesday and could be a good fantasy selection again for Wednesday.

The former MVP is dealing with right foot inflammation as the regular season is starting to draw to a close. Harden's absence allowed Russell Westbrook to shine with a triple-double against the Suns on Tuesday. However, he might also be out for the rematch after the Clippers listed him as questionable ahead of Wednesday's game. Bones Hyland should be next in line to take over the baton, with Xavier Moon possibly also getting meaningful minutes on Wednesday.

There are two more crucial games coming up for the team against Memphis and New Orleans.

Cameron Payne looks set for his second consecutive start and will get a big boost from the backcourt absentees. The 29-year-old has averaged 12.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.8 assists as a member of the first unit in 2023-24.

Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris (knee) will return to the lineup on Tuesday against Detroit. He's back after being unavailable for three games with a knee contusion. Harris has looked sharp lately with multiple 20-point efforts and will have extra fantasy appeal on Tuesday due to Tyrese Maxey's (hip) absence. It's a favorable matchup for Harris, who's had no trouble putting up points against his former team this season, averaging 19.3 points with 54.5 percent shooting from downtown.

Boston Celtics centers Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring) and Al Horford (toe) are both out for Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. The first-place Celtics will give their two top big men the night off on Tuesday, with their next opportunities to take the court arriving in Thursday's battle with the New York Knicks. Porzingis is simply having his right hamstring managed, and Horford is nursing a sprained left big toe. With that said, Luke Kornet has averaged 10.0 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.4 blocks in 30.1 minutes over five games as a member of Boston's starting lineup this season and would figure to join the first unit at the five in this one. Kornet should be a chalky DFS value play despite a matchup with a Bucks club allowing the eighth-fewest DraftKings points to opposing centers.

It places some doubt on Harden's status for the first leg of LA's back-to-back set with the Suns after he was dealing with a sore right foot leading into Sunday's narrow home win over the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers. If the 34-year-old All-Star ends up missing Tuesday's game, the Clippers' offense would center around Paul George with Kawhi Leonard (knee) already ruled out.
