A ninth-round pick by the Indians in 2009, Guilmet owns a 2.64 ERA and 0.96 WHIP across 112.2 innings at the Triple-A level, so he'll likely compete for a bullpen spot in spring training. The Pirates designated Jose Tabata for assignment to make room for Guilmet on the 40-man roster.
