Sat Sep 25 202112:42Nathaniel Lowe Smacks 16th Homer
Texas Rangers first baseman Nathaniel Lowe has been a bright spot in what has been a lackluster lineup lately. On Friday, Lowe went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the 8-5 win over the Baltimore Orioles. He continues to be a promising bat for the Rangers lineup, so hopefully he can carry this type of play into next season. Lowe is slashing .262/.356/.408 with 16 homers and 70 RBI in 2021. He probably won't be a 12-team option next season, but can certainly help in other formats, assuming he continues playing like this.

Mon Sep 20 202100:09Nathaniel Lowe Doubles In Loss
Texas Rangers first baseman Nathaniel Lowe has been a fine option in the middle of the order this season. Unfortunately, the Rangers don't have many reliable bats so Lowe doesn't get many chances to drive in runs. Despite that, he continues to do his part and hit for a reliable batting average. On Sunday, Lowe went 1-for-4 with a double in the 7-2 loss to the Chicago White Sox. He is hitting .261 with 15 home runs and 68 RBI this season. Sadly, he likely won't be anything more than an AL-only or deep league option.

Sat Sep 11 202101:43Nathaniel Lowe Has Two RBI Game
Texas Rangers first baseman Nathaniel Lowe has been a nice piece for this offense down the stretch. On Friday, Lowe went 1-for-2 with a two-RBI double and two walks in the 10-5 loss to the Oakland Athletics. The Rangers didn't have much of a chance after the A's put up six runs in the second inning. Despite that, Lowe has been a reliable bat for this team all season long. It's a shame they don't have much else throughout their lineup. He is worth a look as a cheap streaming option down the stretch of the season.

Wed Sep 1 202111:16Nathaniel Lowe Goes Deep Versus Rockies
Texas Rangers first baseman Nathaniel Lowe has been one of the key contributors in this offense over the last month or so. On Tuesday, Lowe went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and RBI-single in the 4-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies. After that outing, Lowe is slashing .261/.350/.406 with 14 home runs and 61 RBI. He might be worth snagging in 12-team formats, but can definitely help out in deep leagues or AL-only formats.

Wed Aug 25 202101:40Nate Lowe Records Five Hits
Texas Rangers first baseman Nate Lowe refused to get out at the plate during Tuesday's game against the Cleveland Indians. Lowe went 5-for-5 at the plate with a home run, a double, and added three singles as well. It was a three-RBI night for Lowe who helped the Rangers get the 7-3 victory. Lowe became the first player for the Rangers to get a five hit game since 2018. Honestly, Lowe might be the most reliable bat in the Rangers lineup right now. He is certainly worth snagging in most fantasy formats.

Mon Aug 23 202120:05Nate Lowe Collects Two Hits On Monday
Texas Rangers first baseman Nate Lowe has been a fairly reliable bat for this offense over the last month or so. On Monday. Lowe went 2-for-5 with a pair of singles in the 8-4 loss in 11 innings to the Boston Red Sox. The Rangers recorded 10 hits in this game, but couldn't get many of them around the bases to score. Lowe was able to knock in one of the four runs for Texas in this game. He's a borderline asset in 12-team leagues, but should have value outside of that format.

Fri Aug 20 202117:45Nate Lowe Isn't Starting On Friday
Texas Rangers first baseman Nate Lowe is on the bench for Friday's game against the Boston Red Sox and left-handed starter Chris Sale. Lowe has provided both the Rangers and fantasy managers with some quality production this season, batting .247 with a .343 on-base percentage, 12 home runs, and six stolen bases in 481 plate appearances. It'll be Andy Ibanez filling in at first base and hitting ninth. Ibanez is batting .213 with a .256 on-base percentage and five home runs in 180 plate appearances for Texas this year. Fantasy managers are probably better off looking elsewhere for streaming options at first base.

Wed Aug 18 202118:38Nate Lowe Isn't In Wednesday's Lineup
Texas Rangers first baseman Nate Lowe isn't starting on Wednesday against the Seattle Mariners and left-hander Marco Gonzales. Lowe has been one of Texas' best hitters this season, batting .248 with a .345 on-base percentage, 12 home runs, and six stolen bases in 475 plate appearances. However, it'll be Charlie Culberson starting at first base and batting sixth against Gonzales. The 32-year-old is hitting .249 with a .304 on-base percentage, four home runs, and seven stolen bases in 231 plate appearances this season. You're probably better off looking elsewhere for streaming help at the position on Wednesday.

Sun Aug 15 202100:02Nate Lowe Knocks In Two Runs Saturday
Texas Rangers first baseman Nate Lowe has been a reliable piece in the middle of the order for this team. He went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI during Saturday's 8-3 loss to the Oakland Athletics. Lowe's double in this one marked his 15th of the season and he continues to be one of the few bright spots for this offense. He'll push his batting average to .256 with 12 home runs and 54 RBI this season. Lowe probably isn't a 12-team standard league option, but can help fantasy managers outside of that.

Thu Aug 12 202113:47Nate Lowe Doubles In Loss On Wednesday
Texas Rangers first baseman Nate Lowe appeared to be one of the few bats that showed up for this lineup on Wednesday. He went 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored in the 2-1 loss to the Seattle Mariners. There wasn't much life from the Rangers batters in this one as lefty Tyler Anderson held them in check. Lowe is slashing .249/.347/.387 with 12 homers, 51 RBI this season. He's probably not a 12-team standard league option, but has value outside of that in deeper formats.

Sat Aug 7 202116:25Nate Lowe Out Of Saturday's Lineup
Texas Rangers first baseman Nate Lowe isn't starting on Saturday as the club gets set to take on the Oakland Athletics and left-hander Cole Irvin. Lowe has provided both the Rangers and fantasy managers with some solid production in his first season in Texas. In 443 plate appearances this season, the 25-year-old is hitting .249 with a .348 on-base percentage, 12 home runs, and five stolen bases. Curtis Terry is starting at first for Lowe and batting ninth. Terry has logged just 37 plate appearances for the Rangers this year, collecting four hits and a couple of walks. If you need streaming help at first base on Saturday, you're probably better off looking elsewhere.

Wed Aug 4 202111:52Nate Lowe Held Hitless On Tuesday
Texas Rangers first baseman Nate Lowe struggled at the plate during Tuesday's blowout loss to the Los Angeles Angels. He went 0-for-4 in this one, but his absence at the plate didn't make much of an impact in the 11-3 defeat. Lowe is batting .249 with 12 home runs and 50 RBI this season. He isn't someone that is likely going to make an impact every night. Lowe is worth a look in deep leagues or AL-only formats.

Sat Jun 26 202103:50Nola ties record with 10 straight Ks, Phils, Mets split DH
Bryce Harper blew kisses at a booing crowd to punctuate his home run, and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the New York Mets 2-1 in eight innings Friday night for a doubleheader split after Aaron Nola matched a long-standing major league record with 10 straight strikeouts in the opener. Odúbel Herrera drove in the tiebreaking run with a groundout against reliever Sean Reid-Foley (2-1) in the eighth as both games took an extra inning to determine a winner. Nola tied Tom Seaver’s mark for consecutive strikeouts set 51 years ago, but the Mets rallied to win the first game 2-1 in eight innings on big hits by Francisco Lindor and Dominic Smith. Following a costly error by third baseman Alec Bohm in the bottom of the seventh, Archie Bradley (3-1) limited the damage and allowed only pinch-hitter James McCann’s tying sacrifice fly in the nightcap. In the opener, Seth Lugo (1-0) struck out three in the top of the eighth and stranded two runners for the NL East leaders, playing their third doubleheader... [More]
