Wed Sep 22 202101:15Dylan Moore Hits Two-Run Triple
Seattle Mariners utility man Dylan Moore got a rare start against a right-hander Tuesday, and he came through with a two-run triple and a run scored in four at-bats in Seattle's 5-2 victory over the Oakland Athletics. Moore has been trying to fix his swing all season, and he may have finally figured something out as he's slashing .353/.389/.647 over his last seven games and 18 plate appearances. Even so, it's hard to conceive of activating Moore in fantasy formats of any depth, as he simply doesn't see the field enough.

Mon Sep 20 202115:12Dylan Moore Reaches Three Times, Steals A Base
Seattle Mariners utility man Dylan Moore has continued to find ways to contribute in limited playing time. He started Sunday's game against the Kansas City Royals at third base batting eighth, and he went 2-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base, a run scored, and an RBI. Moore is now slashing .455/.538/.727 with a home run and three steals in his last seven games, making him a solid dart-throw for desperate fantasy managers in the coming scoring period, as he may find his way into the lineup a bit more.

Mon Sep 13 202101:00Dylan Moore Homers Again Sunday
Seattle Mariners utility man Dylan Moore homered Sunday, his 12th of the season. The solo shot was his only hit in two at-bats. With 20 steals to his name as well, it would be fair to imagine that Moore has had quite a strong season, but that hasn't been the case. Despite the power-speed combo, Moore has managed just a .611 OPS through 296 at-bats. He should only be rostered in very deep leagues, and he should be a last-round pick at best heading into 2022.

Sat Sep 11 202111:11Dylan Moore Swipes Two Bases Against D-Backs
Seattle Mariners utility man Dylan Moore got the start batting ninth and playing left field Friday against the Arizona Diamondbacks, and he went 1-for-2 with a walk, a run scored, and two stolen bases. He now has 20 steals on the season. That number is surely impressive, but Moore has had just 52 at-bats since the beginning of August. He's no more than the short side of a platoon at this point, and as such is an unsustainable player to roster for fantasy purposes.

Tue Aug 31 202113:24Dylan Moore Hits Pinch-Hit Home Run
Seattle Mariners second baseman Dylan Moore came on as a pinch-hitter against the Houston Astros Monday, and immediately launched a two-run home run, his 11th of the season. This is Moore's second home run this season off of Brooks Raley, after a go-ahead grand slam just prior to the trade deadline. Moore now has a .611 OPS and 18 steals on the season, but his playing time has been reduced significantly and he's hardly rosterable in most fantasy formats.

Wed Aug 25 202113:55Dylan Moore Slashing Just .118/.268/.118 In August
Seattle Mariners second baseman/outfielder Dylan Moore has had an extremely rough year at the plate. Over 97 games, he's slashing .178/.276/.330 with 10 home runs, 18 stolen bases, 37 RBI and 31 runs. He's been especially cold in August, slashing .118/.268/.118 with no extra-base hits over 34 at-bats. Moore's only value has come with his stolen bases this year. He's been hurting fantasy managers just about everywhere else. He has a 31.1% strikeout rate, which ranks in the bottom 5% of the league, and he also ranks in the bottom 4% of the league in average exit velocity (85.8 mph). His stolen bases might make him roster-worthy in some formats, but in all points leagues, fantasy managers can stay away from him.

Mon Aug 16 202100:56Dylan Moore Swipes 18th Bag
Seattle Mariners second baseman Dylan Moore stole his 18th base of the year Sunday against the Toronto Blue Jays. He went 0-for-2 with a walk before being pinch-hit for with Jake Fraley against right-hander Jordan Romano in the ninth inning. Moore has seen his playing time dip of late, rarely getting at-bats against right-handed pitching. That'll make him hard to roster in fantasy, even though he sits ninth in the majors in stolen bases.

Thu Aug 5 202113:08Dylan Moore Swipes 17th Bag
Seattle Mariners second baseman Dylan Moore has taken a slight hit to his playing time since the trade deadline, but that hasn't stopped him from being a leading option in the running game. Moore went 1-for-2 with a single and a steal in Wednesday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays before being lifted for the lefty-swinging Jake Bauers. It was Moore's 17th steal of the year. In deep formats, those steals are enough to earn Moore a roster spot, but it's hard to start him in weekly leagues when he's posting a .635 OPS and isn't playing every day.

Sat Jul 31 202123:26Dylan Moore Swipes 16th Base Saturday
Seattle Mariners second baseman Dylan Moore started Saturday's game against the Texas Rangers batting ninth and playing left field. He went 1-for-1 with a walk and a stolen base before being lifted for a pinch-hitter. The acquisition of Abraham Toro has clearly cut into Moore's playing time, and it appears he may sit against many right-handed starters going forward. His 16 stolen bases are impressive, but they aren't enough to keep him on rosters if he only plays on the short side of a platoon.
