Noesi (8-12) gave up three earned runs on six hits over six innings pitched against the Royals Friday night, while walking two and striking out five in the loss.
It was a quality start for Noesi but it wasn't enough as the Royals' Jeremy Guthrie was fantastic on Friday. Noesi improved his numbers over the second half of the season, although he's been extremely inconsistent from start-to-start. He ends the season with a 4.75 ERA.

Noesi allowed six hits, three walks, and three runs over six innings and had only one strikeout in Saturday's loss to the Rays.
Noesi received minimal run support, as the White Sox failed to score until Marcus Semien singled in a run in the top of the ninth inning. Saturday's loss was Noesi's 11th of the season, and he'll look to finish the season strong in his final start of the season against Kansas City on Thursday.

Noesi allowed three runs on four hits with a walk and four strikeouts over 6.1 innings in a no decision against the Athletics.
Noesi has logged three straight quality starts and five in his last seven outings. The right-hander is still a risky play with his mediocre 4.69 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 6.69 strikeouts per nine innings. Noesi faces the Twins on Sunday.

Noesi was quality through seven innings Tuesday, giving up three runs on nine hits and zero walks with five strikeouts against the Twins.
He took a no decision as Chicago's bats were unable to push runs across against the Twins' bullpen after chasing Tommy Milone early. Noesi's ERA now sits at 4.70, and with a below average K-rate (17.3 percent), he's only useful in deeper leagues. He sets up for two starts next week, against the A's on Monday and again against the Twins on Sept. 13.

Noesi struck out five and walked one while giving up two runs on six hits over seven innings Wednesday to earn his eighth win of the season.
With Wednesday's start, Noesi has now gone at least seven innings in seven of his last eight outings. His control still wavers at times, but Noesi is beginning to display limited spot value when utilized correctly. He'll get a favorable matchup next time out against the Twins at Target Field on Tuesday.

Noesi (7-9) allowed four runs on seven hits, including three home runs, while striking out eight Orioles over seven innings Wednesday.
Obviously the three long balls are what killed Noesi, who only allowed one baserunner per inning. The right-hander has settled down in August after a rough July (5.50 ERA). He is 2-1 with a 3.42 ERA and 22:6 K:BB ratio over 26.1 innings this month. The White Sox have two days off, so Noesi won't pitch again until next Wednesday versus the Indians.

Noesi (lower body) has been confirmed as Wednesday's starter against the Orioles.
Despite giving up five runs over five innings his last time out, Noesi earned the win over Toronto to improve to 7-8 on the season. He was struck by a comebacker but there was never any indication from the team that Noesi was in serious danger of missing Wednesday's start. The right-hander faced the Orioles back on June 25 and held them to two runs on nine hits over seven innings.
Fri Aug 15 201423:48Noesi left start Friday night after being struck by grounder
Noesi left his start Friday night after being struck by a grounder, Dan Hayes of CSN Chicago reports.
Prior to his departure, Noesi threw 100 pitches, and held Toronto to five runs on eight hits over five innings Friday night to pick up his seventh win of the season. Noesi largely benefited from Marcus Stroman's inability to finish the first inning, as the White Sox piled up 11 runs in the first three innings. It's unclear if Noesi will be forced to skip a turn in the rotation as a result of the injury he left with Friday night.

Noesi allowed one run (unearned) on five hits, walking one and striking out four over 7.1 innings, but came away with a no-decision against Seattle on Saturday night.
After struggling in July (5.50 ERA) Noesi has now turned in back-to-back strong performances. His season has been one filled with inconsistency so he remains a risky play in his next start at home against Toronto.

Noesi picked up his sixth win of the season Monday, allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits with three walks and six strikeouts over seven innings against the Rangers.
It was Noesi's first career complete game, albeit a rain-shortened seven inning contest. The right-hander is probably glad to see the calendar turn from a July where he owned a 5.50 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and seven home runs in 36 innings. Noesi will try to keep it going Saturday in Seattle.

Noesi gave up six runs on 10 hits with three walks over six innings Wednesday in a 7-2 loss to the Tigers.
All six runs off Noesi came in a brutal first inning that was capped off by a Nick Castellanos three-run shot. The right-hander now sports a bloated 5.21 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 78 strikeouts to 41 walks in 107 innings, but somehow is still holding onto his spot in the White Sox rotation and will face the Rangers on Monday.
Wed Jul 30 201422:33Noesi bashed by potent Tigers lineup in loss
Hector Noesi fell to 5-8 after yielding six runs over six innings in a loss to the Tigers on Wednesday.
All six runs came in an ugly first inning in which Noesi allowed six hits (five singles and a three-run home run) and walked two batters. From the second through the sixth, Noesi put up goose eggs. Overall, the right-hander allowed 10 hits, walked three, and struck out three. It hasn't been a great season for Noesi, as he has a 5.21 ERA, a 1.48 WHIP, and a 78/41 K/BB ratio. He'll try to bounce back against the Rangers at home on Monday.

Thu Jul 24 201423:12Noesi dominant into the 8th against the Twins
Hector Noesi dominated the Twins on Thursday, allowing two runs in 7 2/3 innings in a win.
Noesi blanked the Twins through seven frames, but relented his first two runs when Danny Santana homered to right field with two outs in the eighth. On the night, Noesi limited the Twins to three hits while walking one and striking out three. At least for now, Noesi's ERA is back under 5.00 at 4.99 along with a 1.44 WHIP and 75/38 K/BB ratio. He'll have to face the Tigers in Detroit the next time he takes the mound.

Fri Jul 11 201422:37Noesi gives up six runs in loss to Indians
Hector Noesi was hit hard for six runs in 4 2/3 innings in Friday's loss to the Indians.
Coming off his strongest outing with the White Sox, Noesi came crashing back down to Earth in this one. He gave up nine hits (including two home runs) and four walks while striking out four batters. The 27-year-old owns an ulgy 5.26 ERA over 87 1/3 innings of work this season and isn't a fantasy option.

Sun Jul 6 201419:12Noesi blanks the M's over 6 2/3 in 1-0 win
Hector Noesi shut out the Mariners over 6 2/3 innings as the White Sox squeaked out a 1-0 win on Sunday.
Noesi hasn't been particularly good this year -- he had a 5.33 ERA heading into Sunday's start -- but he was able to silence the Mariners' bats in this one. Noesi gave up just five hits, all singles, and walked two. The right-hander also struck out five. Despite the good outing, Noesi isn't a fantasy option when he takes on the Indians in Cleveland on Friday.

Tue Jul 1 201421:26Hector Noesi wild in loss to Angels
Hector Noesi channeled his inner Nuke LaLoosh Tuesday, walking and striking out seven while allowing five runs over five frames in a loss to the Angels.
The walks and strikeouts totals were both season highs for Noesi, who needed 111 pitches to cover five innings. Noesi had mostly been pretty decent of late, but tonight's showing was a reminder that he can't be trusted in even the deepest of fantasy leagues. He'll try to get back on track in Boston next week, which doesn't seem likely.

Thu Jun 26 201400:31Noesi solid, but bullpen leaves him with a ND
Hector Noesi limited the Orioles to two runs over seven innings but took the no-decision in Wednesday's 12-inning loss to the Orioles.
Noesi blanked the Orioles over seven frames and took the hill to start the eighth, but allowed back-to-back singles before manager Robin Ventura took him out of the ballgame. Nelson Cruz would later tie the game at 4-4 on a grand slam, with two of the runs being charged to Noesi. Overall, the right-hander allowed nine hits, issued no walks, and struck out two. Noesi has a 4.18 ERA with a 48/21 K/BB ratio since joining the White Sox in late April. He'll face the Angels at home in his next outing.

Fri Jun 20 201423:31Noesi lasts seven innings against Twins
Hector Noesi gave up four earned runs in seven innings on Friday.
The White Sox staked Noesi to an early 2-0 lead, but the Twins were able to erase it with three runs in the third and one more in the fourth. Noesi was untouched outside of those two innings. His final line was four earned runs in seven innings to go with two walks and four strikeouts. He would have picked up the loss, but Glenn Perkins blew the save for the Twins. This has been one of Noesi's better starts on the year, but his ERA still sits at 5.34. He should be off the radar in most fantasy leagues.

Sat Jun 14 201417:42Noesi chased early against Royals
Hector Noesi gave up five runs (two earned) over 3 2/3 innings in a loss to the Royals on Saturday.
All five runs scored in the fourth inning. Noesi gave up five hits and a walk in the frame, but third baseman Leury Garcia didn't help matters by committing an error. The loss was his first since May 17. Noesi owns a 5.37 ERA and 48/21 K/BB ratio across 57 innings this season and remains an uninspiring option in fantasy leagues.

Wed Jun 4 201401:23Noesi tosses 1-run ball to earn 1st 2014 win
Hector Noesi held the Dodgers to one run over six innings Tuesday in a 4-1 win.
Noesi allowed four walks while striking out six. The right-hander spent all of last month getting stretched out, and he's now settled into a nice little groove, tossing three straight quality starts. That alone makes him addable in deep AL-only leagues, but keep your expectations in check -- Noesi came into that trio of starts with a 7.31 ERA. That number has fallen to 5.64, and Noesi's first win of the year leaves him 1-4. Noesi welcomes division rival Detroit to Chicago next week.
