Tue Aug 8 202321:59Ronald Acuna Jr. Removed From Tuesday's Contest
Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. (elbow) left Tuesday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates early after he was hit by a pitch on his left elbow, according to the team. He's undergone X-rays, which came back negative, but fantasy owners should still consider the superstar day-to-day. Acuna Jr. is in the midst of an MVP-caliber season, slashing .339/.422/.587 with 26 homers, 100 runs, 68 RBI, and 53 stolen bases. Those are historic numbers, so hopefully, he can return without a trip to the injured list. While he's on the sidelines, expect Kevin Pillar to take over in the outfield. The former Toronto Blue Jay is batting .264 against left-handers with four home runs and a .770 OPS, making him a decent streaming option in the right matchups.

Thu Jul 13 202312:35Ronald Acuna Jr. Looks To Continue Strong First Half
Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. is looking to continue his incredibly strong first half of the season as the second half begins on Friday. The Braves kick off a home series against the Chicago White Sox on Friday, followed by another three-game set vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks. Acuna Jr. put together an incredible first half, as did most of the Braves offense. He's currently slashing .331/.408/.582 with 21 home runs, 55 RBI, and 41 stolen bases across 359 at-bats. He's on pace to break all of his previous career marks and the 41 stolen bases is already a career-high for the 25-year-old. He's also on track to join the rare 40/40 club, which only has only been achieved four times in MLB history, most recently by Alfonso Soriano in 2006. Acuna Jr. was already a menace on the basepaths but he's taken full advantage of the new rules. Considering he's already notched the 40 stolen bases and the fact that he's just 15 home runs away from 40, we could be looking at a truly historic season for Acuna Jr.
