ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — The Latest on the coroner's report involving the death of Los Angeles Angles pitcher Tyler Skaggs (all times local):4:20 p.m.The family of late Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs has suggested a team employee was being investigated by police in Texas over the 27-year-old pitcher's death in an accidental overdose.A statement from the family thanked police in the Dallas suburb of Southlake for the investigation and said they "were shocked to learn that it may involve an employee of the Los Angeles Angels."The family released the statement after the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office made public its report of Skaggs' death. ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs died from a toxic mix of the powerful painkillers fentanyl and oxycodone along with alcohol in an accidental overdose, a medical examiner in Texas said in a report released Friday.The 27-year-old Skaggs was found dead in his hotel room in the Dallas area July 1 before the start of what was supposed to be a four-game series against the Texas Rangers. CLEVELAND (AP) — Los Angeles Angels pitcher Félix Peña has a torn ACL in his right knee and has been placed on the 10-day injured list.Peña was injured covering first base in the second inning Saturday against Cleveland. He went to the ground after crossing the bag to record the out and grabbed his right leg.Peña was down for several moments before being carried to the dugout by first baseman Albert Pujols and an athletic trainer. An MRI revealed the injury.Manager Brad Ausmus said the team won't know until after the surgery is completed when the 29-year-old right-hander will begin a rehabilitation program.Peña leads the Angels in wins and is 8-3 with a 4.58 ERA in 22 games. ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — The Los Angeles Angels will play a day-night doubleheader in their return to Texas next month to make up the game that was postponed after the death of pitcher Tyler Skaggs.The Rangers announced Sunday that the makeup game will be a day game Aug. 20. That will be before the previously scheduled game that night.After Skaggs was found unresponsive in his Texas hotel room on July 1, the scheduled opener of what was supposed to be a four-game series was postponed. BALTIMORE (AP) — The Tampa Bay Rays' bid for the first combined perfect game in major league history has ended with a leadoff single in the ninth inning by Baltimore's Hanser Alberto.The hit off reliever Ryan Yarbrough came Sunday at Camden Yards.
