Gonzalez received a no-decision Saturday, allowing three runs on six hits and three walks over seven innings while striking out five.

The Orioles didn't pull ahead until the bottom of the ninth, denying Gonzalez the win despite a quality start. He'll look for another solid effort Thursday, at home against the Twins.

Gonzalez struggled once again, giving up four earned runs in 4.2 innings, but took the no-decision. He struck out six while giving up seven hits (two home runs) and two walks.

Gonzalez pitched six or more innings just twice in his last 10 starts, going 4-4 over that span, but has just one quality start in his last six outings. His ERA has ballooned up to 4.45 and he should be back on the mound Saturday against Oakland.

Gonzalez will make his next start Sunday or Monday depending on when the Orioles decide to let Chris Tillman (ankle) make his next start, MASN Sports reports.

Gonzalez has good career numbers against the Angels, going 3-1 with a 2.20 ERA. Tillman rescheduled his start from Monday to Friday, and the start is being pushed back again.

The right-hander brought his ERA back below 4.00 and his WHIP and BAA now stand at 1.20 and .237, respectively. Keep in mind, though, that Gonzalez has given up 15 home runs in 88.1 innings this season and lines up to face a Nationals team his next time out that ranks fourth in the NL in homers.

Gonzalez will have a much more manageable matchup in his next start Monday in Minnesota.

Obviously, he's worth waiting on. It's about Miguel. Not the need of the club right now, because we're actually in pretty good shape in the 'pen, considering six guys and a four- and a five-inning start. I couldn't ask for much more than that."
