Lohse fell to 3-8 with a loss Monday against the Royals as he threw five innings and allowed five runs on five hits.

Lohse had nothing once again on Monday, as he continues to trot out there and attempt to show he has any trade value whatsoever for the Brewers. Alas, Lohse was tattooed again on Monday and gave up his 16th home run of the season. That total leads the league, but at least Lohse is tied with three other pitchers for the dubious mark (James Shields; Jered Weaver; Kyle Kendrick). His ERA sits at 6.44.

Lohse (3-7) gave up 10 hits over 6.1 innings Wednesday in Pittsburgh, but limited the damage to just two runs. He struck out two and walked one in the 2-0 loss.

The Brewers couldn't muster enough offense to support Lohse in a rare effective 2015 outing for the embattled veteran, who still sports an ERA nearly two full runs above his career average. Of course, at 36 years old, the sun is setting on Lohse at this point. He'll look for a better outcome Monday against the Royals.

Lohse gave up five runs on eight hits over six innings and did not factor in the decision Friday night against the Twins.

He cruised along until the fifth inning, when the Twins erased a 5-0 deficit in one frame. Lohse has been prone to very hard contact throughout the season when he's missed his spots, which has driven his ERA to 6.59 (14 homers in 68.1 innings) despite a 55:15 K:BB through 12 starts. Lohse will make his next scheduled start Wednesday in Pittsburgh against Charlie Morton and the Pirates.

Lohse got hammered Saturday, serving up two home runs to Paul Goldschmidt en route to seven earned runs on 11 hits in 3.1 innings. He struck out two.

He's now coughed up 12 runs in 8.2 innings over his last two starts, sending his ERA soaring to 6.50. The Brewers don't have many other options for their rotation though, so Lohse's spot should be relatively safe for now. He'll try to turn things around in his next outing, on Friday in Minnesota.

Lohse gave up five runs on six hits in Monday's loss to the Giants.

Lohse pitched 5.1 innings on Monday, walking three and striking out seven. He pitched well through the first five innings, but got banged up in the sixth which led to his fifth loss of the season. Lohse is now 3-5 with a 5.80 ERA.

Lohse delivered a quality start Wednesday, giving up two runs on seven hits and a pair of walks over six innings. He struck out four and didn't factor into the decision.

After shutting down the Mets his last time out, Lohse wasn't nearly so dominant against a far better offense in Detroit, but he still put out a solid stat line. Of course, that's been a rarity for Lohse in what's been an odd season -- despite posting the best strikeout rate of his career, Lohse's ratios are about as bad as they've ever been. Outside of deep and NL-only formats, Lohse is mainly useful as a streaming option. He'll face the Giants -- owners of the third-worst offense in the National League -- on Monday.

Lohse tossed eight shutout innings, allowing just two hits and walking one while striking out eight over eight innings as the Brewers downed the Mets 7-0 Friday night.

Lohse (3-4, 5.85 ERA) needed a strong outing after getting off to a horrible start, and catching the struggling Mets likely helped his cause. It was solid all-around as he tossed 107 pitches (76 for strikes) while avoiding trouble throughout.

Lohse picked up a win Saturday, going five innings, allowing four runs, and striking out seven in the 12-4 over the Cubs.

A four run-five inning performance is nothing to get excited about, but it's one of the best starts of the season for the struggling veteran. His 7.03 ERA is indicative of his early season struggles, but the seven strikeouts is a promising sign for things going forward. Lohse's next start will come Friday against the New York Mets.

Lohse struck out four and walked three while holding the Dodgers to three runs on four hits over five innings Monday night. He did not factor in the decision.

After being greeted by a Joc Pederson solo home run in the first inning, Lohse was tagged for two more runs in the fourth. He needed 104 pitches to get 15 outs, lacking the efficiency he displays when he's at his best. Through six trips to the mound, Lohse has been unable to turn in back-to-back quality starts for the Brewers this season. He'll face the Cubs on Saturday in his next scheduled start.

Lohse pitched seven innings in Tuesday's game against the Reds but suffered his fourth loss of the season. He allowed four earned runs while allowing seven hits -- including three home runs -- and posting a 5:1 K:BB ratio.

Lohse threw at least six innings for the fourth time this season, but he gave up at least four earned runs for the fourth time in five starts as well. Lohse is scheduled to make two starts at home next week, but those will not be easy matchups against the Dodgers and Cubs, teams that currently rank ninth and sixth in the majors, respectively, in OPS away from home.

Lohse gave up two earned runs over seven innings and picked up his first win of the season in Thursday's victory over the Reds. He allowed three hits, walked one, and struck out four batters in the game.

Lohse was tagged for 18 earned runs in 15.2 innings over his first three starts, but he did a much better job preventing runs Thursday afternoon. Lohse will face the Reds again in his next start, which is scheduled for Tuesday in Cincinnati.

Lohse had a nightmare start Monday, allowing eight runs in 3.1 innings in a blowout loss to the Rockies on Opening Day.

Lohse was very successful for the Brewers last season, but has gotten off to a rough start here in 2015. The veteran allowed 10 hits and two home runs in his first start of the season. He'll try to right the ship against the Pirates this weekend.

Manager Ron Roenicke indicated Friday that Lohse will start for the Brewers on Opening Day against the Rockies, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Lohse was probably the favorite to receive the Opening Day nod for the Brewers coming into camp, and nothing has occurred to change it. The veteran posted another solid season in 2014, finishing the campaign with a 3.54 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 141 strikeouts over 198.1 innings.

Lohse tossed a two-hit shutout in the Brewers' win over the Reds on Wednesday night.

The victory kept the Brewers' slim playoff hopes alive as the Giants fell 9-1 to the Dodgers on Wednesday. Lohse seems to have gotten back on track in his past few starts after struggling through an ankle injury through August and the early part of September. If the Brewers were to miraculously push their way into a one-game playoff with the Giants for the second Wild Card, Lohse would be on regular rest to take the ball for a Monday start, but it's much more likely that his second campaign with Milwaukee will end with a 3.54 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 141:45 K:BB over 198.1 innings.

Lohse pitched well Thursday against the Cardinals, tossing 7.1 innings and allowing just a run on four hits and a walk. He struck out two in the no-decision.

That's two strong outings in a row for Lohse following a pair of starts in which he surrendered a combined 12 runs, but he still has just one win in his last nine outings. He'll wrap up his season with a start against the Reds next week.

It was a nice bounceback game for Lohse as he threw 105 pitches on the night in the quality start. He wasn't able to snag the win, but did keep his club in the game against an underwhelming Reds offense. Lohse next takes the mound on Thursday against the Cardinals.

After throwing 79 pitches in four frames, Lohse was lifted for a pinch-hitter in the bottom of the fourth as the Brewers had a bases loaded situation with two outs. Lohse has been scuffling since the start of August, and there's some concern that he's not completely over the ankle injury that sidelined him a few weeks back.

Lohse allowed seven runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out three in 5.2 innings in the Brewers' 15-5 loss to the Giants on Sunday.

Lohse has been up-and-down this month, with two quality, one-run starts of six innings sandwiched between three starts of less than six innings. He's allowed 13 runs in five starts in the month and is 1-3. He'll take the mound again Saturday against the Cardinals.

Lohse (12-7) allowed one run on four hits with four walks and five strikeouts Monday in a victory over the Padres.

Lohse looked goo in his return to the Brewers rotation after sitting out for a couple weeks with an ankle injury. The veteran righty now sports a 3.42 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 119:38 K:BB ratio in 165.2 innings on the year. He will get his second start of the week Sunday against a struggling San Francisco lineup.

As expected, Lohse (ankle) is listed in the lineup and will make the start Monday against the Padres.

Though he hasn't pitched in nearly two weeks, the spacious confines of Petco Park should prove to be a soft landing spot for Lohse as he embarks on a two-start week. He'll throw in cozy environs in his turn over the weekend, going up against the light-hitting Giants at AT&T Park.
