Reds recalled RHP Pedro Villarreal from Double-A Pensacola.

The Reds scratched Johnny Cueto from Wednesday's game, so Villarreal will be called up as a spot-starter. The 25-year-old has a 5.03 ERA over 11 Triple-A starts and can be ignored in fantasy leagues.
