The Brewers called up Rogers from Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday, MLB.com's Adam McCalvy reports.
Rogers steadily progressed through the Brewers' minor league ranks the last couple years, and he showed he was worthy of a chance with the big club by posting a .947 OPS over 57 games after being promoted to Triple-A Nashville in late June. Rogers can play both first base and third base, but expect him to primarily serve as another bat off the bench this September.

Rogers went 4-for-6 with three home runs and nine RBI in a doubleheader with Triple-A Nashville on Sunday.
Rogers exploded Sunday, but he has hit the ball well since being promoted to Nashville, posting a .301/.360/.534 slash line over 38 games. Rogers still does not get much respect in prospect circles, but he is well on his way to finishing with an OPS over .800 for the third straight season.

Brewers optioned 1B/OF Jason Rogers to Triple-A Nashville.
Rogers was added to the 40-man roster over the winter but never had a real shot to crack the Opening Day roster. With Hunter Morris likely to handle first base at Nashville, Rogers figures to be at a corner outfield spot.
