Elbert retired all three batters he faced, fanning two, Friday in his rehab debut. The left-handed reliever is on his way back from dual elbow surgeries and is expected to spend several weeks on the farm. He should be ready to join the Dodgers' bullpen around early June.

The 27-year-old lefty posted a superb 2.20 ERA in 32 2/3 innings last summer for Los Angeles before undergoing elbow surgery in mid-September. Wednesday's procedure was his second in four months.
