Parker (elbow) threw three innings and 33 pitches in an extended spring training game Saturday, John Hickey of the Bay Area News Group reports.
Parker got on the mound for his second simulated outing of the week and reportedly worked 90-94 mph with his fastball. It's a long, slow process to rebuild strength following Tommy John surgery, but he appears on track to return around the A's loose target date of June 1.

He threw 15-pitch innings and said his arm feels good. Obviously there is no firm timetable for his return as he continues to recover from Tommy John surgery, but he is probably at least a couple months away.

Parker (elbow) is well ahead of schedule in his rehab from Tommy John Surgery, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Parker, who has now undergone the procedure twice, said he's feeling very well, and manager Bob Melvin said what he's seen thus far is all "good stuff." Parker threw a simulated game Wednesday, tossing two sets of 15 pitches to hitters with a break in between. The A's have not provided a firm return timetable for Parker, but he's expected to return sometime around June. "It's hard. There's every bone in my body that feels like I could be ready sooner, or soon, but I think the smart side of me says be cautious," Parker said.

Parker (elbow) will throw two 15-pitch innings in minor league games Wednesday, Jane Lee of MLB.com reports.
Parker is still in the process of rehabbing from Tommy John surgery, but still likely remains a ways off from returning in a full capacity. The fact that he didn't suffer any setbacks during bullpen and live hitting sessions is a good sign, however, and he continues to make progress towards a return at some point this season.

All reports have been positive during Parker's return from elbow surgery, and this will be the next step towards Parker's return. He's still slated to actually be available in June. That fact, along with his previous injury history, restrict the minimal fantasy value he may have had for 2015.

Parker is expected to return to the A's in June, although it is still undecided whether that will be in the rotation or if the A's may ease him back with a stint in the bullpen.
Sun Feb 8 201519:12Parker (elbow) projected to return to A's in June
Parker (elbow) is projected to return to the A's in June, reports Jane Lee of MLB.com.
Parker's 2014 Tommy John Surgery was the second of his career and manager Bob Melvin noted on Sunday that the team would be particularly careful with Parker because of that. It is unclear what role Parker will have once he does return, but with the A's likely to take a large amount of caution with him, it is difficult to see him providing much fantasy value in 2015.

Parker has lost his arbitration case with the Athletics and will receive a one-year, $850,000 deal, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports.
The combination of Parker's 2014 season lost to Tommy John surgery and mediocre 2013 season likely cost him his case, in which he filed for a $1.7 million salary. This was Parker's first go-around in arbitration, and will definitely earn more next year after he's able to pitch this season.

The A's have not ruled Parker out entirely for the start of the season, but it appears he will not be ready when the real games kick off. Tommy John surgery made Parker a non-entity in single-season leagues this year, but he could be back in the A's rotation for the start of the 2015 season.
Mon Jul 7 201418:53Jarrod Parker nearing throwing program
Jarrod Parker (elbow) is hoping to be cleared to begin a throwing program in 2-3 weeks.
Parker, of course, is recovering from Tommy John surgery that he had in late March. It was the second such operation of his career, so it's possible he'll need a little more time than your average Tommy John rehabber.

Thu Mar 20 201416:34A's move Parker (elbow) to 60-day DL
Athletics placed RHP Jarrod Parker on the 60-day disabled list with a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow.
Parker is set to undergo the second Tommy John surgery of his career on Monday. He won't be a factor again for the Athletics until the early part of the 2015 season. It's a brutal blow, but that good news is that he's still just 25 years old.
