Huff has thrown three bullpen sessions over the last few days with no issues and is ready for game action. "I had an extended game simulated bullpen," Huff said. "It felt great, I think I ended up throwing like 70 some pitches. Monday was Day 13. I feel good about the way things are progressing."

David Huff (shoulder) allowed a run on two hits over an inning of work in his Cactus League debut Monday.
Matt Cain tossed five no-hit innings before Huff allowed a single to the first man he faced in the sixth. "I thought he threw the ball fine his first time out," Giants manager Bruce Bochy said. "We'll try to get him stretched out. It was good to see him pitch an inning." Assuming he's healthy, Huff should make the Opening Day roster as a long reliever.
