According to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, the Braves are leaning toward Freddy Garcia for NLDS Game 4.

Garcia earned that start by posting a 1.65 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 20/5 K/BB ratio over his final 27 1/3 innings this year for Atlanta. But he owns a 4.84 ERA in 187 2/3 total frames since the start of the 2012 season and will face an extremely tough test at Dodger Stadium.

While he shouldn't be an option in most fantasy leagues, he's doing fine as a stopgap option in the starting rotation.

Garcia allowed seven hits, one of them a homer, and he struck out just one. He might be just one more bad start away from getting booted from the rotation, though Wei-Yin Chen's injury could buy him some additional time.

It was Garcia's debut for the O's and he looked excellent, yielding only three hits and two earned runs over 6 2/3 frames. He was lifted at 78 pitches but should be able to go 90-plus next time out. The veteran right-hander could be a decent streaming option in deep mixed fantasy leagues going forward. He had a 2.67 ERA in five starts at Triple-A Norfolk before his promotion.
