Braves recalled RHP Jairo Asencio from Triple-A Gwinnett.

Asencio had been lights-out for Gwinnett, tossing four scoreless innings with a 7/0 K/BB ratio. It's possible he could be sent right back down after Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader, as the Braves will need to clear a roster spot for Jair Jurrjens.
