In the Red Sox system since 2004 and now 29 years old, this will be Hottovy's first taste of the big leagues. He's worked hard to earn it, posting a 1.67 ERA and 0.78 WHIP in 14 games between Double-A and Triple-A this season. With Rich Hill appearing done for the year, Hottovy should get a legitimate chance to establish himself as a lefty specialist out of Boston's bullpen. | ||||||
