Josh Outman will get a crack at filling Jamie Moyer's spot in the Rockies' starting rotation.
"[Outman is] stretched out to go a little bit, and then he'll be piggy-backed with somebody," Rockies manager Jim Tracy said. "Slowly but surely, we'll stretch him out to where he gets the point where he can determine his own fate from one start to the next." The 27-year-old left-hander owns a decent 3.92 career ERA but can go on being ignored in most fantasy formats.

Josh Outman has made the Rockies' Opening Day roster as a reliever.
