Blue Jays signed RHP Robert Coello to a minor league contract.
Coello had a pretty decent year splitting his time between the rotation and the bullpen at Double- and Triple-A in the Cubs organization in 2011, holding a 4.19 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 8.5 K/9 rate over 116 frames. He'll likely serve as Triple-A bullpen depth for the Jays.

Cubs acquired RHP Robert Coello from the Red Sox for INF Tony Thomas.
Coello was designated for assignment by the Red Sox last week. The 26-year-old right-hander earned a September call-up last season after posting a 3.86 ERA over 107 1/3 innings between Double-A Portland and Triple-A Pawtucket. He averaged 10.9 K/9 working as both a starter and reliever last year, so he could be a nice little find out of the bullpen for the Cubbies.
