The former Yankee has been outstanding in his utility role, hitting .319/.375/.486 with seven extra-base hits and 12 RBI in 72 at-bats. Fri Apr 12 201323:10Pena homers in extras to down Nationals
Ramiro Pena launched a go-ahead two-run homer in a 6-4 win over the Nationals in 10 innings on Friday.
The Braves trailed 4-0 at one point, but battled back in the ninth and went ahead with Pena's blast off Craig Stammen. It was just his third career homer in 188 games and his first since June 15, 2011 as a member of the Yankees. While it was a nice moment for the 27-year-old, he doesn't hold any value in fantasy leagues.

Sun Mar 25 201217:50Report: Phillies interested in Pena
The Phillies are interested in acquiring Yankees infielder Ramiro Pena, according to George A. King III of the New York Post.
Philadelphia is on the hunt for infield depth. Chase Utley is sidelined with no timetable to return and Freddy Galvis will start at second until he makes it back. Chris Getz is off the market, because he is in the hunt for Kansas City's starting second base job. Pena would be a decent fallback option for the Phillies if New York is willing to part with him.

Fri Mar 2 201216:16Ramiro Pena triples, scores three times
Ramiro Pena went 2-for-2 with a triple, a steal and three runs scored in the Yankees' 11-0 defeat of the University of South Florida on Friday.
Pena spent all of 2010 and much of 2011 on the Yankees' roster, but it doesn't look like he'll be a candidate for this year's team unless an infielder gets hurt. Eduardo Nunez and Eric Chavez are set to occupy bench roles for the Bombers. Pena does have an option year left (since he never burned one in 2010), so unless someone offers up a prospect for him, he'll probably open the season at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
