Kelvin Jimenez has signed a contract with a Japanese team.

The Rakuten Golden Eagles, to be exact. Jimenez also spent the 2010 season overseas, pitching for a club in Korea. The 30-year-old right-hander posted a 5.63 ERA and 1.79 WHIP over 24 innings with the Cardinals in 2008, his last full season in the major leagues. He might never return.
