Rays signed RHP Jonah Bayliss to a minor league contract.

Bayliss posted solid numbers for Triple-A Round Rock in 2010, holding a 3.58 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 8.4 K/9 rate, but the fact that the pitching-starved Astros never called him up is pretty telling. He'll represent depth at Triple-A.
