He was cleared to make room for the newly-signed Leonys Martin on the 40-man roster. Aguero, 26, was claimed off waivers from the Pirates last month and has allowed one run over his first 5 1/3 innings between Double-A Frisco and Triple-A Round Rock this season. | ||||||

Aguero was designated for assignment by the Pirates prior to the regular season. The 26-year-old right-hander posted a 6.14 ERA and 25/17 K/BB ratio over 29 1/3 innings between High-A Bradenton and Double-A Altoona last season. The Rangers have assigned him to Triple-A Round Rock. | ||||||
