Wolf was acquired two weeks ago in a trade that sent utilityman Jake Fox to Baltimore. The 27-yer-old Wolf had a 2.11 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP in 38 1/3 innings in the O's farm system and will pitch in long relief. | ||||||

Wolf, 27, was an 18th-round draft pick of the Marlins back in 2002. He began his minor league career as a starter, but has since shifted to relief and will leave Triple-A Norfolk with a 2.11 ERA and a 1.15 WHIP over 38 1/3 innings. The A's may want to use him in middle relief right away. | ||||||
